Just for the sake of interest I wish to know what kind of & how many responses do you people get on mingle2.

The people who views your profile,who invites you as friend or express their interest in dating,are they usually up to your expectations?

Monthly stats:

Nudges = 100
Views = 200
Friend Requests = 100
Emails = 600

These are actual figures garnered by
counting in those areas. The only ones
that bulk delete are Views and
Received/Sent Email, after 30 days.

This is about 25% of what it was
before I went into 'Stealth Mode.'

So, it seems being shown as 'Online'
really turns over the Views.
(Keep in mind a yellow border draws
attention, as does regular forum posting.)

A View usually results in a Friend Request
and a couple Nudges. Some Email.

No expectations as I do not reply.
Hope this helps your study :-)

No one ever talks to me in any way ever...well except on the boards.

Lots of profile views, lots of nudges, lots of e-mails, a few friend requests.

I rarely reply to any of them. I don't reply to nudges or friend requests from strangers at all, and I don't reply to vapid, empty e-mails that say nothing other than "Hi" or "Hello" or contain two sentences that are so generic they could be sent to anyone in the world and be equally applicable.

On average, I'd guess that I actually reply to less than 2% of the e-mails I get.

I don't send out first e-mails, so I don't have to concern myself with the response rate to those.

Views, approx 10 a day
Nudges, approx 5 a day
Emails, approx 2 a day
Friend request, approx 20 in the last month, mostly from guys in their 20s because they cannot email due to the parameters I've set.

Every month I get a few interested people who say my profile rocks, I get some who ask me incredibly dumb questions, I get a nice share of hate mail for comical reasons. The rest is made up of those whom I am friends with and we banter back and forth.

Also that one guy who wants to know what kind of mice I like to eat. (You sir, are just plain odd)

I do get some nudges, but for the most part ignore them since frankly I find them somewhat rude unless I know you already. I get plenty of views. Some friend requests.

I have no expectations. I find that too limiting and confining.

I don't have any expectations. I don't pay attention to the number of views. I pretty much ignore friend requests/nudges unless there has been contact beforehand. I respond to most emails, unless they're rude.

well since i switched to male,
i get almost no views.
maybe two or three the since i've made the change.
and absolutely zero messages from females.
what the hell?!
don't i make a good man?!
interestingly enough,
if i put my face up it doesn't matter that my profile says 'bleh' and that i'm a man.
weirdos will still contact me.
o.O
i reply to no one unless you float about the forums.

Because there isn't any limiting & confining rule fortunately & many people see this site something else than a dating site too.

BTW...me too don't have any expectations & why am I here is clearly mentioned in my profile.

Speaking only for myself here. By expectations I mean I do not "expect" a given result.

A lot of people join up, then throw a fit because no one writes to them or answers them or pays attention to them, then they get butt hurt and leave or toss up a complaining post somewhere. There is a great belief among many that the simple act of being present/male/female/whatever entitles you to a set number of messages/nudges/requests/whatever. And that is simply not the case. I don't expect anyone to do anything here, and do not base my presence here upon it. If people write to me, then so be it, fantabulous! If not, that is fine to.

It is not the end of my world.

Does "Speaking only for myself here." have another definition I am unaware of?
