Not sure but I think Norman Finkelstein isn't allowed into Israel and both his parents were in concentration camps. Norman Finkelstein is a Jew.

![]() ![]() ![]() Not sure but I think Norman Finkelstein isn't allowed into Israel and both his parents were in concentration camps. Norman Finkelstein is a Jew. ![]() Norman Finkelstein is another rabid Israel-hating ideologue who has cynically exploited the tragedy of his parents in a publicity stunt career trading in Israel-bashing! ![]() No wonder you love Finkelstein! Have you ever read his nonsense? It is laughably ridiculous! He's been kicked out everywhere he has tried to shamefully peddle it! His only supporters are the Israel haters! ![]() I don't know if Israel would let Norman in either but I've read his ignorant propaganda and it has no merit except as a mechanism to bring pornographic attention to Norman Finkelstein! He's made a career out of being controversial and coming up with cockamamie anti-Israel conspiracy theories and discredited innuendo. ![]() He's been kicked out of every college, coffee shop and street corner where he has tried to peddle Finkelstein-inanity. The man is a joke - in poor taste at that. I don't think he should be allowed into dog-catcher remedial training class much less a civilized free country he hates like Israel. From the New York Times article on his latest rejection of academic tenure at DePaul: =-=-=-= Norman Finkelstein, the political scientist whose bid for a permanent position at DePaul University stirred up charges of anti-Semitism, personal vendettas and outside interference in the hiring process, was informed Friday that he had been denied tenure by the university.... In a letter to Mr. Finkelstein, Father Holtschneider wrote that Mr. Finkelstein is an excellent teacher and a nationally recognized public intellectual but does not “honor the obligation” to “respect and defend the free inquiry of associates.” In a statement Father Holtschneider said the outside attention paid to Mr. Finkelstein’s bid for tenure “was unwelcome and inappropriate and had no impact on either the process or the outcome of this case.” He added: “Some will consider this decision in the context of academic freedom. In fact academic freedom is alive and well at DePaul.” =-=-=-=-= In other words, Finkelstein is an amusing lecturer but writes Pro-Palestian and Anti-Israel propaganda rather than real material of scholarship that is based on factual analysis and objective investigation. All Finkelstein's work appears to be biased anti-Israel propaganda. ![]() and Do two of you on here really think its some sort of crime that Israel does not want to let a Nazi into their country? Obviously some are appalled that the Israelis would be so outrageous as to try to prevent access to a former Nazi who writes anti-Israel literature and advocates against the destruction of Israel... ![]() |

JERUSALEM — Israel on Sunday declared Guenter Grass persona non grata, deepening a spat with the Nobel-winning author over a poem that deeply criticized the Jewish state and suggested it was as much a danger as Iran. The dispute with Grass, who only late in life admitted to a Nazi past, has drawn new attention to strains in Germany's complicated relationship with the Jewish state – and also focused unwelcome light on Israel's own secretive nuclear program. In a poem called "What Must Be Said" published last Wednesday, Grass, 84, criticized what he described as Western hypocrisy over Israel's nuclear program and labeled the country a threat to "already fragile world peace" over its belligerent stance on Iran. The poem has touched a raw nerve in Israel, where officials have rejected any moral equivalence with Iran and been quick to note that Grass admitted only in a 2006 autobiography that he was drafted into the Waffen-SS Nazi paramilitary organization at age 17 in the final months of World War II. Grass' subsequent clarification that his criticism was directed at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, not the country as a whole, did little to calm the outcry. On Sunday, Israel's interior minister, Eli Yishai, announced that Grass would be barred from Israel, citing an Israeli law that allows him to prevent entry to ex-Nazis. But Yishai made clear the decision was related more to the recent poem than Grass' actions nearly 70 years ago. "If Guenter wants to spread his twisted and lying works, I suggest he does this from Iran, where he can find a supportive audience," Yishai said. Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman accused Grass of anti-Semitism. The uproar has touched upon some of the most sensitive issues in modern-day Israel: the Holocaust, Iran's alleged pursuit of nuclear weapons and Israel's own illicit nuclear program that is widely believed to have produced an arsenal of bombs. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/08/gunter-grass-israel_n_1410979.html Trash! |

so they don't want a Jew hating nazi in Israel... ![]() He said he volunteered for military service to get away from his parents.. He waited 60 years to tell the truth.. He had said he was in an anti aircraft battery.. He could have come clean when he was nominated for the nobel prize.. But he chose not to.. It says a lot about his character or lack thereof .. |

Wonderful World we live in. America and other. Countries had no problem recruiting nazis after the war and now Some Americans defend Israel for banning a guy who writes a poem about the war....weird I turned 18 in June 1996.. I will be happy to denounce any Nazis that were brought to the US after that date.. As for Grass... He has lived a life of lies and deception. I personally don't find the poem that awe inspiring or substantial. Many have spoken out about Germany giving Israel submarines as part of the reparations for ww2.. It is not groundbreaking.. and it wouldn't have even been an issue if he wasn't a former member of the Waffen-SS and lied for 60 years about it.. |

I wonder will my Great Great Grandchildren be talking about the atrocities of Cheney Blair and Company in 65 years time. We could of course agree to put them on trial now and save all the speculation and conspiracy. I say they and many others should be put in the dock...what say all of you? |

Yes Cheney is the evil one in my opinion. As regards the post being in the wrong place... The insinuation of this thread is that this man was involved in war crimes as such. Cheyney and Blair are modern day equivalents in my opinion so it sits well here i think |
