New Black Panther Party chief of staff Michelle Williams apologizes after George Zimmerman radio outburst

Let me tell you, the things that's about to happen, to these honkeys, these crackers, these pigs, these pink people, these ---- people. It has been long overdue. My prize right now this evening ... is gonna be the bounty, the arrest, dead or alive, for George Zimmerman. You feel me?

I hope she gets some jail time for this. Those tears tell me that she knows that is a real possibility.

I hope we are careful of becoming word police

freedom of speech and all....

on the other hand, however thin the line, I think we DO need to pay particular attention to certain types of speech and deter and penalize it,,,,althought that goes against EVERYTHING constitutionalists could ever support given the right to free speech,,,

That woman can call white people names all day, I could care less what this ignorant piece of human garbage thinks about me. The problem is that she called for the kidnapping or murder of Zimmerman.

a matter of interpretation I Guess

I saw it as her predicting something, rather than calling for it,,,

Freedom of speech crosses the line when we call for the "whatever" of others.

This hate speech is as much vigilante as the shooting itself.

The key word is "bounty". The despicable group she works for placed a bounty on Zimmerman's head.

If she is found to be calling for violence, there should be consequences.

the racial slurs offend me personally,,,,btw

For the most part, the Civil Rights Amendment did limit some freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is a good thing. I want to know what is in other people's hearts and the only way for me to find out is for them to speak freely.

Really? If you had two choices of businesses and the owner of one was a racist and the owner of the other wasn't, it wouldn't matter to you which one got your business?

I aim to never support individuals that openly express such cognitive bias. Ideologically speaking it would make me a hypocrite. I also do not go out of my way to find out what a given companies owners are all about either, so it takes a pretty vocal ownership to draw such attention . . . all the more reason to avoid such, just my .02

true, I would be suspicious of anyone who felt a need to publicize such negativity

but , to be honest, my decision would still be based on the service or product and not the personal issues of the person behind it,,,

This area is a little "gray" according to laws passed by congress.

The NDAA says it would be "supportive" of terrorism if that company were to be "black listed", and you may not even know it!

There is a limit to freedom of speech. I don't know if this line crossed it. Like I cant tell someone i am going to kill them. They could call the police and I could get charged with intimidation or threats. There is nothing illegal with the racist part though.
