for those that say the govt would not ever let the
wrong people go to jail

4 wrongful convictions cost 101 million tax dollars

they should be more involved than money

1 agent gets 10 years

something to think about next time you think the govt is always right

In law enforcement like any other profession there are disreputable people. They are a small minority but unfortunately everybody in the profession now gets tarred with the same brush.

Oh really, Gardenforge? - Let's see: They all took an oath to uphold the constitution, yet they let Cheneney and Bush and their crew get away with wiping their butts with it.
Why isn't every cop, judge and congressman tripping over themselves to arrest these guys?

how many points in the patriot act of 2001

go against the constitution

everyone involved in its passing should be tried for treason

True enough, knoxman. One is'nt breaking the law if they MAKE the laws. Davinci - I was at a lecture in N.Y. in '02 where a U.S. congressman - Charles Rengold (don't remember correct spelling)
told us that the reason that congress and senate rolled over for
the "patriot" act and others was that they believed Wellstone was murdered, and they didn't want the same to happen to them or their famillies.

government Vs average Joe...

Consider what happens when anyone makes assumptions, or mistakes?

Huh, what a perfect world would be like.

there are lots of things the gov. gets away with and i am not talking about just breaking laws look at how our troops are being treated once they get hurt and come home their families can barely afford to take care of them yeah Clinton got impeached for a BLOWJOB and if he only would said yeah i did it when asked maybe he wouldnt have but this is not a perfect world cause if it would be hell we would get a pay raise everytime the congress did dont ya think

Gypsy tell me just what the hell does your post have to to with this topic? If you want to start a Bush Bashing topic start one, don't hijack every thread as a means to spread your anti Bush venom. Clinton got impeached for Purjury, that is lying under oath not for getting a BJ there is a difference. Purjury is a felony.

That however has nothing to do with this topic, this topic is about some FBI guys that lied 30 years or so ago and got some people sent to jail. How the hell you can tie that to Bush is beyond any rational mind.

Same goes for you CBX this has nothing to do with Bush except in your paranoid mind. Geez Bush must have been involved in this while he was still in college.

Get life both of you

I haven't been near the TV all weekend, I just get sick and tired of the same few people hijacking every thread with the same old tired BS, The impeach bush thing was covered here about a month ago. Knox, I think, published quite a lot of factual information on the criteria for impeachment but some people have the attention span of a gnat and can't seem to remember that far back. It's getting so everything that is posted here is like listening to a broken record. You would think that if people are bright enough to use a computer they would be bright enough to start a thread on any subject they wanted instead of hijacking every thread that is started and twisting it to their own personal paranoid version of reality. I will make it easy for them I am starting a Bash Bush Here thread but someone else will probably hijack that one with a "The Federal Reserve System is a Failure" or a "Ron Paul" for president Rant.
