One mans civil rights activist is another man's race-baiter.

Why do blacks riot and destroy their neighborhoods?

Whites have an excuse, their drunk. I think looting and burning goes way beyond anger management issues.

Good old Allie-Oop kind of implied Zim is almost one of his kind so, he wants to cut his hispanic bro some slack

similarity to WHAT?

who is allie oop?

his kind of what?

who else is hispanic in this conversation?

I think of the show Kung Fu. Patience, grasshopper.

Abstract thought.

Alley Oop is a syndicated comic strip, created in 1932 by American cartoonist V. T. Hamlin, who wrote and drew the popular and influential strip through four decades for Newspaper Enterprise Association. Hamlin introduced an engaging cast of characters, and his storylines entertained with a combination of adventure, fantasy and humor.

Alley Oop, the strip's title character, was a sturdy citizen in the prehistoric kingdom of Moo. He rode his pet dinosaur, Dinny, carried a stone war hammer and wore nothing but a fur loincloth. He would rather fight dinosaurs in the jungle than deal with his fellow countrymen in Moo's capital (and only) cave-town. In spite of these exotic settings, the stories were often satires of American suburban life.

Like Alley Oop, Sharpies ideas don't fit today's world. Perhaps, they did in the 50's and 60's. He is a caveman in a modern world.

Anyone spreading his hate is a racist puke and has hate in their heart.

He would like all negros to stay 'the victim and blame whitey for all their problems and woes.

Same goes for the teachings of the Muslim extremist, Eugene of the NOI. He changed his name claiming he was shedding his slave name. Like a lot of negros in the 60's and early 70's did.rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl

Example;
I'm a negro, gangster, drug addict. It's all whities fault.sad

Many Hispanics and Negros have the common factor of hating whitie. The Reconquista Movement is in your backyard. Negros gonna' find themselves slaves to the Mexicans. Look at how the movement is creeping up on everyone.

Ex. To get a public and many Gov. jobs, ya' gotta' cater to Mexicans and know Spanish. Love it. Assimilate or go without.

Zimmerman is the Hispanic who wasted the dead thug. As his Mama calls him.

And who cares (or believes) what that bloated windbag says about peace, when he can't avoid trying to create racial division?

Sharpton is not worthy of respect nor trust imo, but his message or his claims should be evaluated on their own terms, rather than on his character.

"Please, we shouldn't have violence. Yes, Trayvon was murdered in cold blood and the police didn't care because he was black, but there is no reason for violence."

Give me a break.

I agree this is a problem. In the same breath he pretends to be against violence, while also spreading the exaggerations and unfounded claims which have already motivated some people to violence.

"If Trayvon Martin had not been black then they would have had taken his killing a lot more seriously at the police station"

Where is the proof of this?

When I take the sum total of the thousands of individual pieces of information I have regarding police behavior - including many hundreds of personal observations - I arrive at the position that this claim is very likely to be true.

If you want to get all radical skeptic about it, then yes, I don't know that its true in this particular situation.

But thats like seeing a dirty disheveled homeless man walk into a five star restaurant seeking the use of a bathroom only to be escorted out the door, then I say "You know if he came in with a suit and tie and cultured mannerisms he would have been welcome to use the bathroom" and someone says "You don't know that to be true". Technically, yes, we don't know that to be true - but the pattern on which I base the presumption is very clear and very real.

Or any of those folks who DARE talk about racism or race relations in AMerica,,,,

'creating' all that division that just wouldnt be there without them,,,,,,,

frustrated frustrated

I don't think thats a fair characterization of the anti-Sharpton sentiments. He doesn't just talk about race, he lies about it. He has built an entire career on fanning the flames of hatred.

I don't mean to deny the value that he also offers - by giving a large and powerful voice to race issues, sometimes it seems to me that he is also doing some good. Does he have to sacrifice reason and integrity in order to be such a powerful voice? Could we have people reach the level of popular influence that sharpton has, while also being fair minded and reasonable?

its a tiring gig, I have tried it,,,

seems just mentioning race relations or racism puts people on a defensive where the very idea is old fashioned and no longer existent

I agree. There are people who are out to deny that racism is even a problem today, who obvious want to discredit sharpton. I think the truth is the middle.

Just because sharpton lies about race issues doesn't mean we don't have race issues.

Just because many of sharptons detractors are in denial about race issues, doesn't mean they are wrong in their criticism of sharpton.

Have you ever dated a black woman? Let me tell you something, racism is very real. Because I don't think Zimmerman committed a crime and I think Al Sharpton is a parasite, that doesn't mean I don't think racism exists. There are racists of every color, I have seen that myself. I just think it's very bigoted and racist to assume that Zimmerman wasn't prosecuted because Martin was black. Lawyers on all sides of the political spectrum have gone on record that there isn't enough evidence to take this to court. Now because a Judge and a Prosecutor who are both up for re-election have pushed the case through into the court system, a man who shouldn't have been charged in the first place could end up in prison. That's just plain wrong and should offend your sense of justice.

lawyers cant decide whether there is enough evidence for a court case if they are not PRIVVY to what evidence there is,,,,as in, a part of the case in question THEMSELVES,,,,

those who are conducting the investigation and looking at the evidence disagree,,,,

According to lawyers who have seen the Affidavit of Probable Cause, there wasn't enough in there to prosecute and the document didn't include exculpatory evidence, which is required by law.

You are wrong. The police department felt that there was not enough evidence to prosecute. The lawyers I was talking about, have seen all of the evidence available, it's all in the Affidavit of Probable Cause. The prosecutor who wrote the Affidavit of Probable Cause is up for reelection. The Judge who accepted the affidavit is also up for reelection and she had to recuse herself. This stinks to high heaven.

an affadavit of probable cause does not have 'evidence',,,

it is merely a statement of why charges should be filed

the police department was trying to get a WARRANT and was stopped from doing so

Injustice and tragedies have happened before and will happen again and again to all people. What we don't need is some "activist" racist yelling "Racism" every time it happens and the media promoting him. This is irresponsible behavior and is dangerous to our country.

I trust, there is nothing close to an activist yelling 'racism' EVERY TIME there is an injustice

if anything, people need to be consistent in staying on top of injustice,, they dont need to back up off of it like its the flavor of the day,,,,

Yes, but there seems to be only one race that does this with regularity. Injustice, like everything else is a part of life you have to accept that fact. Staying on top of it wont prevent it. Certainly yelling racism on top of it does not help or prevent it and is very polarizing.
