Eternal optimist here.
Just the way I roll.

Me too..even though at times being optimistic has worked against me I still always try to remain that way.
By working against me I mean that I have not faced reality, like for instance if the doctor says someone is dying I still keep hoping and praying they won't , so much so that when they do I have trouble facing it.
So I guess that makes an optimistic far more than pessimistic or even a realist.

I try to ignore the yuck and only see the good things.

Then you must NEVER visit my bathroom, whatever the need or occasion may be to do so.

So far we are pretty safe, being antipodes on this globe, but just in case. This is not a threatening warning, but a helpful advice, with sincere and good intentions.

I suppose with me I am a bit of all. I am optomistic about my skills and anything I set my mind too. I am pessimistic about relationships as the guy always seems to let me down. I am realistic that I will never meet any man my age that will accept me as I am and realistic that at my age; I will not ever get hired for another job.

Were you talking to me with your comment? Never say never is very cliche. Personally there is a fine line between pessemistic and being realistic. Me, I analyze my situation and draw my conclusions from that.
