I love this show and the Guist brothers are the main reason I watch it.
Swamp People star Mitchell Guist died this morning. Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack tells WBRZ the incident occurred around 9 a.m. in St. Martin Parish along the Belle River. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ “someone tried to perform CPR on Guist … but attempts to resuscitate the reality star were unsuccessful.” Friends close to Guist tell the site he had recently fallen ill, but there are no further details at this time. http://starcasm.net/archives/155984 |

I love this show. His death is a crying shame. Him and his brother seemed to be very close, I'm sure he's hurting really bad right now.

The Guist brothers are the only reason I watch that show and hope that Glenn will continue to participate in the show in honor of Mitchell. |

I realy hate what the history channel has become but enjoyed that program and allways felt it did not belong on the history channell, maybe discovery or learning channel .
I am sure the poor guy had no insurence |
