I think I just made a huge mistake. Josh and I were fighting again and he said some things that were sorta hurtful. I emailed him this morning and I said it's over because of what he said. Did I make a mistake, and if so, can I fix it?

Why would you want to FIGHT? Just the word hurts, is this what the RELATIONSHIP is about; HURT? If it isn't working, why ASK for more pain? Look in your heart & head. What is really happening & is this what you really want. Life to short to hurt. Better to look else where or be alone, than to hurt or be hurt.

Your CHOICE

If you were hurt and you feel as though you did what was best for your heart...then no of course you didn't do anything wrong.

Relationships are a meeting place, not a destination. You have to both be there willing to work on it.

Good luck.

It's only human nature to "flee" when faced with difficult circumstances. You need to weigh the pro's and con's of staying with this man and decide from there. Remember, you will never find Mr. Right as long as you are with Mr. Wrong.

Thank you all. Joshy is a great guy but what he says at times hurt and he is holding back his feelings until I meet him which makes me wonder if they are true. I just don't know what to do.

If this is the JOSHY on site, he is young & has a lot to learn.
His mouth just might overload his butt.
Consider age & experience, OK.
Great kid, brings a smile to my face.

He is young, but so am I. What I didn't understand last night was why he can say that I am pushing away a guy whom loves me but he can't just come right out and say it....

He has also said in the past that I am the girl he has been looking for all his life but still won't admit his feelings to me.

You know words can hurt as badly as a physical blow. Step back and only you can decide if you are willing to tolerate this online OR in real life. flowerforyou

As A Rule if A man is a Prick to you earl in a relationship he will be a Prick later in the relationship. My Advice Move on and find someone who will talk to you right and be respectful to you.

He does respect me but he doesn't understand that I'm not ready for a face to face encounter.

Don't let anybody rush you into anything. A person who cares for you will respect your wishes and will let you set tour own schedule. You'll know when you're ready.

it is hard to say you are in love with someone just by meeting them online. i can understand him wanting to meet in person first before making that statement. it is hurtful to just use the words i love you without really being in love with that person. i have met someone online and would have bet money on it that he was "the one". we talked for hours on the telephone, etc. but when we met in person nothing was there. it happens. he is wise!! enjoy what you do have and allow it it grow slowly until you meet and decide where to go from there.

i know that, but it isn't really fair to hint that he does but refuse to say it

i agree with Lex-
let him set his own schedule.
is it really fair to be upset because someone
refuses to say it?
when the person is ready to say it- they will have no problem.
and the best thing about that...you will have NO doubt that
he really means it because he did not say it so freely and
no one forced him to say it.bigsmile
relax and enjoy what you have!!
