I'm enduring the distinction between distant and dull.
This bleak, little freak show has twisted my skull.
But now that I'm turned around I've finally found
that the streetlights are naked, the stop lights run down.
Everything's vacant, we're finally alone.
And when nobody's anywhere, everywhere's home.
Ambiguity ambient, anxiously pacing, sedating my senses, enslaving my craving
for infinite wisdom to pass through my temples
and exit with messages, dissect my devils.
Trouble and trauma all wrapped in a dress
and the rubble of yesterday's struggle is gone.
So let's please make a toast to the host of the party,
and the art of the ghost who made me her pawn.
No time to be patient.
It's time to begin.
Alert all the ancients.
Forgive all their sins.

sedation comes in many forms I suppose;
most of which I am not opposed to
