How do we know he didn't have anything to eat or drink? Doesn't say in your article. Either way, msharmony is correct, this is a non issue. You're just trying to find something to whine about.

Msharmony is correct again in that he suggested that the customer ask for the channel to be changed.

why? he goes into a bar unannounced, then starts telling people to change the TV? WHY? If it was such a non-issue, why is it in the news? Free advertising for ziggys bar? I know you libs don't care about this, because everything he does just tickles you pink, but it is an isuue, because he had no business telling anyone to change anything...

What you're not getting (or pretending not to get) is people go into bars unannounced all the time and ask for the channel to be changed. This is not something weird or new. It's funny that you have your panties in a twist over it, though.

Though, again, he suggested to a customer that the customer ask for the channel to be changed. You keep using the word demanded, even though it's not in your article. Why is that? Why are you trying to make it out to be more than it is?

reading comprehension quiz

As he thanked the group for their support, one of them, Jeff Hawks, gestured to one of the TV's and said, "You're in a building that has Fox news on."

Obama suggested that Hawks ask for it to be changed. "The customer is always right," he said.

which answer most closely describes the reading?

A. Jeff Hawks insisted the customer is always right
B. Jeff Hawks suggested the customer is always right
C. OBama demanded the owners turn the channel.
D. Obama suggested Haws ask the owners to turn the channel.

lol,,, choosing anything but D, in such a short and direct reading, is proof that reading comprehension is seriously declining in America,,,,

this will be the 4th time i asked this, and both of you keep changing the subject rather than answering it... why did he want the channel changed? I know the answer, i'm trying to see if libs know it, which i'm guessing no so far...

you must live in a very rude part of town. only people i have ever noticed ask for a channel check in a neighborhood bar are the regulars. dive bars usually have the same people there. at the bigger bars and restaurants the channel is usually set and left there. usually patrons eat, have a couple of drinks and leave.

thats the way they do it in texas, if someone is watching something at a bar, they have a right to finish watching it... even my regular bar i go to, i couldn't walk in and change the channel if someone is watching the program...

Once again, your article used the word "suggested." You keep saying demanding and things like that. Suggesting something isn't demanding. It's not forcing anyone to do anything.

you must be spoiled only child then. within your own family it is considered rude to walk into a room where people are watching a television program and ask to change the channel, how much more insulting it is to do that in a bar full of strangers

Now you're going to try to insult me by stating I must be spoiled? Sorry, man, things may be a bit different than where you live. One of the places I'm thinking of has a few tvs. It's normal for someone to come in and ask to watch a certain game. If all the tvs are already on games that customers have requested, they will not change the channel. However, it's still not rude to ask.

What is rude is to attack someone for doing something that you're not used to. No need to try and insult me just because things may be done differently where you live. I expect more from you ese.
