i know how liberal press is, they lie as much as barry does... he probably threw a big hissy-fit until fox news was turned off and the liberal media covered it up... Suggested and demanded are of the same meaning, he still got his way...

So, you cannot show me where the word demanded is in your article? Didn't think so.

liberal media... watch what fox news is going to say about it, and tell me then you won't see "demanded"...

What is rude is to attack someone for doing something that you're not used to. No need to try and insult me just because things may be done differently where you live. I expect more from you ese.

if you don't have the courtesy to know that when other people are engaged in an activity, it is considered rude for you to walk in and to ask them to cease and desist to please yourself, than the shoe certainly fits

it's not a personal attack. i could've called you twisty and pointed out that you insulted moe by suggesting he wears panties and that said panties were twisted

if you don't have the courtesy to know that when other people are engaged in an activity, it is considered rude for you to walk in and to ask them to cease and desist to please yourself, than the shoe certainly fits

here is the deal

in a PRIVATE room or PRIVATE home, its rude to just come and change the channel,, it is NOT Rude to ask if the channel CAN be changed

everyone has the perogative to say no

in a PUBLIC establishment, the PUBLIC often dictates whats on, and the VENDOR usually can be asked to turn the television to a certain channel for his PATRONS,, which usually only requires the simple task of vERIFYING whether other patrons are already ENGAGED in whats on

,,beyond that,, this is really the most extreme case of nit picking I have ever seen in these threads about politicians

I never cease to be amazed at what people come up with to whinge about,,,,, smh

Did you read what I wrote? If the TVs are on channels that customers have already requested, the channel isn't changed. But yes, it is normal to go into a bar and ask to watch a certain game. It happens quite often. If it doesn't happen there, no worries. We do live in different states and I'm sure much different areas. No need to be rude to me simply because you don't agree with what I've said.

And yes, calling me spoiled is a personal attack.

that maybe your deal. a person that is not a patron and walks into a place asking for a channel check is being rude

that said, i personally don't believe that is what obama did. it seems to me that the patron gave obama a wise crack and obama returned the favor

It really doesn't matter. He can ask and the other customers can ask for a channel to be changed all they want, no matter what their reasoning is.

more from our dictator in chief (DIC)

PARMA, Ohio — At an unscheduled stop at Ziggy’s Pub and Restaurant, an Amherst, Ohio bar, President Barack Obama suggested that the channel be changed when he was made aware that televisions were showing Fox News.

Obama and Fox News have gone to war frequently during his three and a half years in office — most recently over a sharply negative teaser shown on Fox and Friends that the White House took as a Fox News-sponsored attack ad on the president.

The Obama Administration frequently used the network as a proxy punching bag for its Republican opponents in the early years of his presidency. Fox's personalities, led by Glenn Beck, fired back with more and more incendiary comments, but a somewhat delicate balanced was reached after the 2010 election in which both sides toned down their rhetoric.

The exchange, per pooler Mark Landler:

As he thanked the group for their support, one of them, Jeff Hawks, gestured to one of the TV's and said, "You're in a building that has Fox news on."

Obama suggested that Hawks ask for it to be changed. "The customer is always right," he said.

"I'll arm-wrestle you for your vote," Hawks said to Obama. "No, I'll play basketball for your vote," he replied.

'

whoa What an example of making a mountain out of a mole hill.

President Obama didn't dictate anything. He made a request. Considering that the place was filled with the President's supporters, I'm surprised that the TV channel wasn't changed as soon as the President arrived.

of course, thats a nice liberal way of thinking... but i seriously doubt that if bush went into a bar and "suggested" they remove a channel he didn't want to watch, your answers might be different...

here is an article about obama making a woman die...

The owner of an Akron, Ohio, restaurant died Friday shortly after meeting President Obama when he stopped in for breakfast.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney confirmed that the owner had died, and said the president spoke with her daughter Friday afternoon to express his condolences. Carney said the president was honored to meet her, and passed on his thoughts and prayers to the family.

The Akron Beacon Journal first reported that Josephine "Ann" Harris, 70, died of an apparent heart attack just hours after meeting Obama at her restaurant, Ann's Place.

"I'm sure this was her highlight," Harris' sister Frankie Adkins told the newspaper. "She loved Obama."

According to the newspaper, Obama stopped for breakfast at about 8:30 a.m. Harris was pronounced dead at 11:18 a.m.
