This is for power only.

Rates are going up for water and waste water for other reasons. The infrastructure is getting really old, on top of treatment costs and storage costs. Then add in cost of living.

People are never receptive to higher rates. As long as your local utility isn't pissing their budgets away they probably need the funds to keep the water coming out of the faucet and getting the poo to go away.

Power and Gas has massive profits, but usually are slaves to the PUC and share holders.. which make the staff dance and make odd decisions.

If we could only get the aliens to take the poo instead of our delicious gas and electricity. I understand several marketing companies are working hard in multiple dimensions on this endeavor.

Not unless you believe that J.P. Morgan and family are aliens. (They probably are.)

No you were being sarcastic and condescending.

Resources can't be transported from one dimension to another as far as I know.

The aliens don't want paper money, they want the gold.

Paper money is what J.P. Morgan is getting by manipulating prices. Paper money is what we use to pay for energy.

And what does that have to do with aliens.

Just awful. I mean I am just fed up with this. Food went up, electricity went up, water also! Budget is getting tighter for the middle income earner. I use to have a little to spare, but now I have to think twice before buying anything at a store, because I might get a percentage of increase in my water, electricity, or even food bill. Just great ...thanks alot to those hiking up the prices on us.

I have been refusing to purchase things that I feel are over priced.

On a trip to Pueblo the other day, I wanted to buy a soda at a loaf n jug. The workers treated me like they were to busy to answer my questions about why there were no 32 oz cups available for a 69 cent drink. The other sizes were over priced, even the smaller size was $1.09.

So, since they were too busy to be bothered I decided just to get a bottle of coke.

Okay, I saw this bottle of coke which advertised that it was using "real sugar." (I wondered then, what kind of fake sugar the other cokes were using.)

But "real sugar" actually sounded more healthy than what ever they might be putting in the other cokes, so I chose that product to purchase.

On paying for it, the price was $1.69. It was a lot less that 32 oz.
I said, "For that?" He said yes. I told him never mind I didn't want it.

He said, "So you don't want it?"

I said, "That's right, not at that price."

Then I left. I settled for a warm glass of water that I had in my car.

I'm mad and I'm not going to buy their poison anymore. Especially at that ridiculous price.
