If you could write a new Law what would it be?

I honestly have thought about this beforehand. If I had the means to change a law, it would have to be a law of reality (you never specified :P) My law, Stupidity should be painful, not enough to kill, but enough to make you stop and think to yourself... "OUCH, what am I doing that I shouldn't be right now."

Stupidity is a benchmark for how not to behave, I should know, I've set that benchmark myself a number of times, and also observed others as well....tis all part of learning. I seriously believe there ought to be a law against wearing spandex in public, unless you are competing in a sporting event.

Many times in my past I have been known to get close to death due to my own stupidity, but live and learn ya know?

That convicted child beaters, molesterers and murderers be put onto male & female islands with shark infested waters, without any means of communication with the outside world. Maybe that threat of punishment would make them think twice before they act.

That all teachers that teach our children go through thorough psyche check ups before allowed near our children. Then six monthly while in such positions.

at a certain income cap, everyone must hire someone to do SOMETHING,, from cleaning the lampposts to sweeping the sidewalks,, we have cleaner communities that people could feel more pride in and feel more pride in themself,, and we wouldnt have such a large gap between the haves and have nots there is something similar to this in the netherlands

I'd pass a law requiring all corporate CEO's, on down the line to include regional and district managers to do ONE HALF the work that they expect us to do, day in and day out, with none or little help...just like the rest of us. Oh yeah, and try to make a living on a 1,000 or so per month.

I would like it if there was a law that the top poliitcal people in the country must be the first ones to go into combat during war. I think a lot more would be decided around a table if we had this law.

Single parents should get paid $10.00 base pay for 12 hours a day. It should count as a job. It is a 24 hour thankless and payless job.

English as a official language in the US. No public monies(tax supported) spent on resources in other languages except for tourist based services, court systems and emergency services. Private enterprises can do what they want.

All politicians work for min wage, pay their own transpotation expenses and if any are caught taking bribes, cut off the offending hand.
