I'm kinda excited. My sister is moving and she is giving me her cat, Anita. She's a tux mix. She used to be my cats best friend until she turned into an outside cat and got in touch with her wild side. She will be strictly outdoors, but she'll still be my cat.

Her daughter is doing well and is expected sometime around my birthday. She's a big healthy girl already.

I'm also getting an award for being E365 champion in my class at SFI. It's a meaningless award, but it means something to me, so I'm a little excited about it.

I will be finishing up school in Sept. and I plan to take some online courses and obtain my bachelors in business management and marketing, so I'm looking forward to that.

My new job is going well. I also applied for another job, so hopefully I will be working two jobs and working on obtaining my degrees shortly.

My big news is my eye surgeries are finally over and I have glasses that have improved my vision radically.

Trying to get my feet under me living alone. Still feels odd.

Triple digit heat can't get a lot done on house fix ups but still trying. Will post photos when I do.

I wouldn't really recommend you taking a second job if you're gonna be studying as well, ya don't want to be stressing yourself out too much, one thing at a time my friend. Oh and congrats on the first job, didn't even know you got one, I'm not snooping round the forums as much as I used too.

Good news...Granddaughter recently got her Masters in History of Decorative Arts from the Smithsonian in Wash. DC.. Oldest grandson is getting married in Oct., went to a bridal shower today..

Got to spend today with all my gkids..I'm so proud of them..

Bad news..having back problems and surgery may be in the future.. Had
an MRI on Wed., have two spaces between the vertebre that is narrowing...not good..

I am going to be a Grandma in 2 weeks, can't wait. He will be 5 weeks early . so so excited.

Plus I get to go to America in 9 weeks, so excited about that to. We get to spend 9 weeks there.

Then instead of coming home to the top of Australia and the warm we move to the bottom of Australia and the cold Not so excited about that
