When will This Injustice Ever End

Uri Avnery argues that foreign aid and Israeli handouts from stolen
Palestinian tax revenue provide only temporary relief from Israel's economic
strangulation of the Palestinians, and that a "Palestinian Spring" targeted at
the occupation may come sooner rather than later.

To Those That say ...But Israel withdrew from Gaza ....as though Gaza was FREE....A Load of Bollox. Israel has Gaza in a tight Iron Stranglehold Grip.

- Inhabitants of the Gaza Strip are not allowed to export their agricultural products;

-Israel exploits the water, minerals and other assets in the West Bank;

-Palestinian villagers pay much higher prices for water than Israeli settlers;

- Gaza fishermen cannot fish beyond three miles from the shore;

-Palestinian inhabitants are forbidden to travel on the main highways, compelling them to make costly and time-consuming detours.

Gaza is not under Israeli occupation. Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005,
and Hamas has controlled Gaza for the last five years after its
forcible ejection of its Fatah rivals. They completely wasted the last
7 years in fruitless counterproductive terrorism against Israel
instead of accepting Israel and building their own economic prosperity.

The Palestinians have had complete control of their own fate for years.
Instead of trying to peacefully accept Israel and work with their
neighbors, forswear violence and work to improve the economy, the
Palestinian terrorist organizations continued to masochistically launch
thousands of rockets at Israel making it necessary for Israel to
carefully inspect border traffic.

All that is required for a dramatic improvement in the quality of
life in Gaza is acceptance of the Palestinians of a permanent Jewish
state of Israel and willingness to demonstrate that they are ready to
be good peaceful neighbors.

It is completely up to the Gazans themselves to make a peaceful and
more prosperous life for themselves.

There are those who cannot see and there are those that refuse to see.

Which one are you?

Amira Hass of the Haaretz newspaper cites the following conditions:

“Sooner or later … the wrath of the Palestinian poor will change direction. Instead of blaming the Palestinian Authority, they will turn against their real oppressor: the occupation.”

Inhabitants of the Gaza Strip are not allowed to export their agricultural products;

Israel exploits the water, minerals and other assets in the West Bank;

Palestinian villagers pay much higher prices for water than Israeli settlers;

Gaza fishermen cannot fish beyond three miles from the shore;

Palestinian inhabitants are forbidden to travel on the main highways, compelling them to make costly and time-consuming detours.

Plus it is mostly lies anyway.

If the Palestinians in Gaza and Hamas taught peaceful coexistence
in their schools and stopped all rocketing attempts. If Hamas
instead cooperated with the Israelis and Egyptians so all societies could
advance for the better future of their children then there would be peace
and a growing prosperity in Gaza.

It is all up to the Gazans and it can be as good or as awful as they like.

To answer my own Question

It is less than Three Mile Fishing Limit

The Israeli navy harasses Gazan fishermen even within 3-mile limit from shore

"Take off your clothes," ordered the soldier over his megaphone. The old man and his son removed their clothing. "Get into the water," the soldier continued shouting into the megaphone. The son, 18, entered the water from the fishing skiff and swam over to the Israeli navy gunboat.

Read Resolution 242,and Israel's rights under it!
Read it,then talk!yawn

Gaza–Jericho Agreement (Annex I, Article XI) which vests Israel with the responsibility for security along the coastline and the Sea of Gaza. The agreement stipulates that Israel may take any measures necessary against vessels suspected of being used for terrorist activities or for smuggling arms, ammunition, drugs, goods, or for any other illegal activity.

I would have acted exactly like it!
