Does it take before one ever get's a respond on a site as free as this one.

Or is one that bad lookin not to get any respond at all.

personally i dont get on everyday and its taken me up to a week or so to respond to emails. but i will talk to and respond to anyone to meet new people. on the other hand, ive sent some emails and either received replies in a few days or have yet to hear back. good luck in getting your responses.

John I've got a few responses .I'm not really sure if they think I'm cute .But...I've recieved a few.Pretty much I just ask ?'s and say aomething nice .It really isnt that hard to get a response saying the right thing.It depends on what you say
Good things to say: I think you have a beautiful smile , I like your shirt it brings out your eyes. , What is the best movie you have seen lately. etc....

BAD THINGS TO SAY: YOUR HOT LETS HOOK UP , MAN YOU LOOK SEXY!!!! LETS CHAT SOME TIME , DO YOU PLAY A INSTRUMENT I LIKE GIRLS THAT PLAY FLUTES.

John, I don't know why it's the way it is, but I have found MOST of the people here to be pretty good about responding to e-mails. I rarely write to anyone first, but I get lots of e-mail here, primarily relating to things I wrote in the forums.

The only people who aren't at all responsive are the local ones. Which puzzles me, but there's not much I can do about it, so I just don't bother writing to anyone local anymore!

I still think the best way to be noticed here is to have a presence in the forums.

And WM gave some good advice too, I think a lot depends on how the recipient perceives your e-mail and your intent....

Well I normally say nice photo and or what kind of music are you into that kind of thing.

Nusalor, I write a few emails when I see a person I like to be friends with and or talk to etc like that but I get hardy next to no respond and yet I am the nicest person but some may think differently and that's there opinion and view on that matter.

what is the problem bot get a respond?
why u make ur life turn around responses from people.
you don't need a thousand people responding your emails
you just need one and just one person responding to you
til that moment comes enjoy ur friends, and don't act like a desperate
that make members of the opposite sex walk away.
just chill and be patient

I agree with everyone, I send emails and I never get a response but it doesnt make me not email others anyway have patience and things will work out.

I have the same problem, Lex. That doesn't do us any good; I'm here to get coffee and dinner and start a relationship. Why don't the locals respond? Aren't they here for the same thing?

Humm my self I don't per sey send a lot of e-mails out but do once in a while then I will check to make sure they have opened there mail if no and no response I chalk it up to good behavior figuring if they can not show respect by returning yur e-mail then who needs them. NOT ME lol

My self I always return an e-mail back unless the e-mail and all you get is Humm well cute but you can only answer so many LMAO

Another thing I have notice is the contents in the e-mails some limit and are too shallow with them. Getting e-mails that just say Hi or how are u? But well not a whole lot thereto go on.

If you close the e-mail with nothing but statements. What are they gonna e-mail you back with . You have closed that door yourself. If u want someone to return your e-mails. Don't start out by calling them Pet names ya know sugar\, baby , lol , ect.............. Ohh and don't go straight for the crotch it is very un becoming. Hey we all like sex too but at least get to know there name before dropping your pants. lol.

THE CORRECT WAY OF ENDING A E-MAIL BEFORE HITTING THE SEND IS READ IT OVER , ALWAYS SHOW RESPECT , AND ALWAYS AT THE CLOSING OF YOUR E-MAILS MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE WTH A QUESTION THAT WAY IT GIVES THEM SOMETHNG TO RETURN IN THERE E-MAIL TO YOU. IT CAN BE ABOUT SOMETHING IN THERE PROFILE SEE AT LEAST THEY KNOW YOU TOOK THE TIME TO READ IT.
