Hi everyone, i just got on this site for the first time last night, and talked with a very sweet person, but as soon as I logged in today, here is this creep IMing me on my personal yahoo address. He starts off fine, but five min. later he wants to c me on cam...I told him no. Then he starts on how beautiful I am...a few min. later he is falling for me....Give me a friggen' break. I knew somethin' was up at that point, but let him continue. Then it comes...He is from "Ohio", but is currently where??...Nigeria !! Of course he is trying to get home, but has a LITTLE problem called money !! WTF !! He claims to be an engineer, and has no damn money...Anyway, my point...He is a scammer !!! Seen this before, and I told him so. I also told him...I may be blonde, but not friggen stupid !! Told him he better never bother me again. PLZZZ, ladies, and guys watch out!! You are lucky if this has never happened to u before...but believe me, they are out there. They just want to con people out of their money!! blonderockermom, welcome to the site. They are out there....and some of them are good at what they do. Guess that's how they make a living, off of innocent victims. I hope someday they are all caught and see the inside of a jail cell.

The quickest way to get rid of them is to ask them to send you money so you can come visit them. They will take off like a scalded cat

That has happened to me...only he was from Ghana, West Africa and he was an architect. He needed $$$$ for a plane ride home and did not have access to his bank account here in the U.S. Please, I know what your talking about. Some men...must think women are either DESPERATE or complete IDIOTS. I'm not sure which. I hope you have a great day...by the way, welcome to a GREAT site.

Yeppers... I had the Puffin experience.... Except mine have been women so far I have had 12 such experiences... I just tell them I have no money...

I have dealt with them in the past and a couple in the past week, saying the same exact same lines, and i know how to deal with them just by leading them on much like they do to us...lol, i have learned that once they find out your onto them the tone changes... like: you don't really love me, no will cheat on me, & blah blah blah....i just basicly say yep to everything.....lolpes i'll cheat, yes i don't like you, and so on. don't give thime any info like where u live, you home phone number, your address things like that and what ever you do if they ask what bank you save your money at DON'T TELL THEM!!! I found that one out first hand when i had to open up a new bank account and faught with my old bank because of it. Thanks for listening, Tim

lol, i must be really bored because i always get really excited and tell them i'm nuts for them, and please please please let me help them!!! i reply to all the emails i get too. I don't know why they never answer me back. maybe they already know my bank balance.....-0-..... ah well, maybe the next sexy single professional minister of finance who has access to 8 million US but needs my help to pilfer it out of his country.....here i sit at my computer....still....waiting.....

And they were from this site. For the people that aren't aware of what these guys/girls do there's a site called "romance scams" that have a ton of info on them.

watch your phone bills as well. I was the victim of "cramming" which is unauthorized charges to YOUR BILL.
