Paul Harvey was a blessed genius. We need him now more than ever. RIP

The original may have been 47 years ago, but the original story's been republished and updated since. many of the 'remarkable observations' were made up to about 10 years ago when reflecting on similar events that had already happened. Things tend to repeat themselves, like mad cow disease in America.

I do agree that Paul Harvey was a real treat to listen to, back in the day, whenever I could. Thanks!

I was probably in the hospital and missed it, sorry.

I was a teen during this broadcast. My parents were adament about us being quiet during Pauls commentary. After Nam I listened often if a topic caught my ear.

He and Walter Cronkite... my parents rarely missed
