Extremist Libs have no room in their agenda for the truth.

Up their meds and give them a coupon for a small .

Dewalts answer to home protection that doesn't require a registration or license. This nail gun can shoot a 16-D nail through a 2x4 at 200 yards and in case of a home invasion well you can NAIL THEIR A$$ to the wall. Im not saying it wont kill the perp but they wont get away. You can also help build a friends fence 2 blocks away while sitting in your front lawn. This is truly how you adapt and overcome so Thanks Dewalt.

Wonder how soon stoopid Libs will want nail guns banned?

According to Senator Feinstein, so-called assault weapons have been used in 385 murders since the AWB expired in 2004, or about 48 murders per year.

But there were 8,583 total murders with guns in the United States in 2011, meaning so-called assault weapons were used 0.6% of the time.

This represents a decrease in murders from so-called assault weapons compared to the decade when the AWB was in effect, even though such weapons are more common today.

Further illustrating the small role so-called assault weapons play in crime, FBI data shows that 323 murders were committed with rifles of any kind in 2011. In comparison, 496 murders were commited with hammers and clubs, and 1,694 murders were perpetrated with knives.

To the extent that so-called assault weapons like the AR-15 are used in gun crimes, the rifle's popularity must be considered.

In addition to the AR-15, James Holmes used America's best-selling shotgun at the Aurora movie theater shooting.

At the Virginia Tech and Tuscon shootings, Seung-Hui Cho and Jared Loughner used America's best-selling handgun.

All else being equal, a gun that is commonly owned is more likely to be used for legal or illegal purposes than a gun that is rarely owned.Outlawing guns that are popular today will only make different guns popular tomorrow.

Nevertheless, gun prohibitionists continue to target AR-15 rifles and their owners—not because these firearms have any inordinate capability, but because the anti-gun lobby has invested more than two decades convincing the American people that "weapons of war" must be banned, regardless of whether such a ban would have a measurable impact on public safety, and despite the fact that real weapons of war have already been banned for nearly three decades.

The truth about assault weapons is that there is no such thing.

There are semi-automatic weapons, which are the firearms of choice for millions of law-abiding Americans.

To ban specific semi-automatic firearms because of their cosmetic features is ignorant.

Like prohibition, the United States has gone down this road before.

It didn't work then, and it won't work now.

A ban on so-called assault weapons is the first step toward a ban on all semi-automatic firearms.

Contact your legislators, and tell them the truth about assault weapons.

very good article. What they said about the differance in an assault rifle and a seni-automatic is exactly what I've been saying for years.

Anyone with just a gram of common sense can tell the difference between Full-auto and semi-auto.

Guess Liberal Extremists lack dat gene.

There is no difference! They are equating these weapons to dedicated full blown Machine Guns or Fully Automatic weapons. There are people who can fire a revolver as fast as a Gatling gun for the duration of the six shots. The world record is .7 of a second to fully discharge all six bullets from a wheel gun (Revolver)! the man that can do this also can put all six into a target doing this. He also can pull off speed shots that are reminiscent of an old west gunfighter of legend. This same man can in under 1.5 second can put six shots on six separate targets with accuracy! You could have a fully automatic AK 47, I would still loath to take this man on in a conventional gun fight. But with that aside how fast can I kill a crowd of people with a truck? Faster than any gun can! And in greater numbers!

The reason why Machine Guns scare the Feds is the FBI had to face them in the 1920s and 1930s. For as bad as the Thompson Sub Machine gun is it still was a very effective weapon enough for the FBI to adopt its use facing gangsters. Authority figures hate being out gunned!

Originally, the FBI wasn't armed. It was felt that only gun crazies carried guns, so in the interest of public safety, they didn't have any for dangerous thugs to take away from them and use on them. The agents were highly trained in the martial arts at disarming & beating up armed gun crazies & criminals.

Then J.Edgar H. came on the scene and after a (rigged & erroneous) statistical study that stupidly indicated that unarmed men were at a disadvantage when armed thugs were more than three feet away and shooting at them, J. Edgar made the criminal decision to arm the FBI, thus turning them into the gun crazy thugs they are today.

Hopefully, the obama Administration will see the wisdom of once again disarming thuggish, criminal outfits full of gun crazies, such as the FBI, Army, Marines, etc., and issue an executive order in that regard.

Gov't creates the problems they then charge us to try and solve..... like Al Queda, Saddam, Idi Amin, Bibi, The Shah, drug wars, mexican cartels, gangs and on and on.....

Prohibition only creates a bigger payday for gov't and criminals, does NOTHING to fix the problem!

Actually, this is not true. The first step was taken years age and the effort to ban any type of automatic (semi or otherwise) has been brought up in congress many times. It is just getting a tailwind now.

I went to a big gunshow yesterday and saw more AR15 style semi-autos than I have ever seen before ... all at about twice the usual price. Mags have gone up from a few dollars used to as much as forty bucks apiece since Obama will probably get a mag size limit in place soon.

I stood near the door for awhile waiting for some friends and heard the local sheriff's dept discuss "Obama's new laws". He said "we have no intention of enforcing them." I am glad I live in Texas!

The County Sheriff is proving to be a great ally in the fight for Liberty. My personal hero in that regard (and I'm not even IN your country) is Sheriff Mack. I see however that he's far from alone! The following meeting must have taken place a year ago:

Kinda gives you a great reason to "Support your local sheriff."

The Liberty and Freedom Foundation
HOME BURGLARY TIED TO JOURNAL NEWS' GUN MAP REPORTED - It seems that Liberal extremism has consequences, unfortunately the victims are average Americans, who are suffering from these Obamaist extremists. On Jan 13, New York State senator Gregory Ball announced that a burglary had been reported which appears to be a direct result of the Journal News' gun-owner-name-dump. According to Sen. Ball's announcement, the burglar allegedly "used the Journal News' interactive gun map to target a home included on the map." Said Sen. Ball: "The same elitist eggheads who use their editorial page to coddle terrorists and criminals are now treating law abiding citizens like level three sexual predators." To remedy this, he is pushing three separate pieces of legislation which protect inherent privacy rights of all citizens and also keep personal information of gun owners from being disclosed. It is time average Americans stop suffering from Obamaists and their extremism!
