SO PUT ON A HAPPY FACE! But it is so damn COLD here in California on these CLEAR SUNNY DAYS! Jack Frost must like stinky feet today! He is nibbling at my toes! Dare I sleep in tomorrow? Can't. Work never sleeps! I just got to deal with it! There is always tomorrow! It will be nice if it warms up... But if anything there are plenty of these guys to mess around with, So dawn that happy face and carry on! Drinkies later on at my place!

I got home one night at 11:45 only to discover I lost my house key. The kicker was it was -20 and my spare key was frozen in my real estate key box and it was too dark to see the numbers to punch in the code. Might have to rethink about a better place for a spare key.

Might have to rethink about a better place for a spare key. I will digress! THAT IS COLD! I had some friends stationed in a radar base in Greenland. They made a short film of what cold REALLY was. It was 34 below. They had a straight run from the kitchen and the mess hall to the outside via a hallway and doors held open by soldiers. They took a big pot of boiling water right off of the stove with special mittens on so they would not get burned. A short trip to the last set of doors outside and the two heavily bundled men tossed the water out the door to a group of men waiting outside with a special camera to withstand the cold. Boiling water turned to snow the instant it was tossed into the air. From what I know -30 is this cold, a human will freeze solid in under two minuets. Taking off your mittens or boots is INSTANT frost bite. THAT IS COLD! And to think it gets close to minus 200 F in Antarctica during some of their most hostile wind storms. I am not sure what the world record coldest day on record is. I know Antarctica holds it.
