Suddenly

I was waiting at the bus stop
as winter danced around me
when a rush
of cold wind
caused my body shiver
I pulled at my coat
to shake of the chilled breath of mother nature
while turning away from the wind

And
there you were

Suddenly
the sun’s ray
seemed to fight through the wind
and the world didn’t feel as cold
it was something about your smile
something about
the look in your eyes
that turned
a dark
cold
bleak
winter day
into a warm
bright
spring afternoon
