Do you mean this question in a...people who are willing to eat live scorpions for prize money...way?

Or do you mean it in a...why would a desperate woman prostitute her body to feed her starving child...way?

Unfortunately our society places money above Morals & Human decency..Life is short & Very precious..I'll never understand how the 100's of people control the 100's of millions of people..

I don't really know of anyone personally who would do anything for money.....so I guess I am confused...

I am still not sure that I understand. Do you mean that people sometimes do things because there is a financial motive, even if that motive is not directly obvious?

Why does that mean that they would do "anything" for money?

There are always limits; it always depends on what the parameters are. There are many 'jobs' that certain types of people go into only because of the money; lots of it but totally illegal and dirty, never-mind any morality that the powerful interests of the world need to have done. If you survive, you collect your moneys and fade away or you become 'disappeared'. permanently. In some parts of our world, there are those who consider themselves fortunate to have a job selling rags...

Who are these people that would do absolutely ANYTHING for money? Just because someone has money, it doesn't mean they're decent. Money is just an object, but love is a feeling. Someone can have tons of money, but they can be a total a$$. Even said it with two dollar signs. laugh. Maybe now Ke$ha will be my friend. laugh. Money and morals are so different from each other. If someone complains that a date was just using him/her for what he earned, then they get everything they deserve for showing off how rich they are.

Being realistic; you need money to survive. All the love in the world isn't going to feed you, clothe you, help with medical bills, or put a roof over you head; so yes money is everything.

How very Machiavellian of them. If we could only find some compassionate being, pure of heart and lacking of guile to run this people forsaken world. *heavy sigh* But wait...I can't even find someone like that to mow my yard. laugh

We need money as a culture unless you want to return to where everyone farms. Money allows for many to leave the farm and make other things like TVs, cell phones, computers, the internet. After all do you want to be paid two hundred dozens of eggs just for a 20 inch flat screen TV?

No man can get rich himself unless he enriches the lives of others.
