well hows THIS for weird.. someone tried to break into my home last night.. they tried ripping the lower handle part off.. dog woke me at 2:25 AM, barking at the front door.. when I looked out I didn't see anyone so went back to bed thinking deer or fox OR someone turned around in the driveway again.. this morning I went out to bring in the garbage cans and when I went to go back into the house, the lower handle came off in my hand.. I was able to get in the house regardless but.. figured I best go get a new set.. which I did.. silly part? even if they'd of gotten the handle off.. the dead-bolts would have stopped them.. how stupid can some people can be although UP side? the new set is tamper proof

...umm, my antivirus is still blocking some type of malicious bug from dat fried cat thang, every time I click to post. Zee is your door frame steel/metal? Maybe the perp ran off to get some hotdogs for your pooch, and he really just wants you? A big clod as myself could bust a deadbolt receiver just tripping into ifn made of wood. So it was reported then..Five-O looked around for evidence of time spent staking out da joint? Excuse me paranoia fadda~ it is weird, someone doing such as at a time when most likely someone is home. boink

I have 2 deadbolts and neither is next to the other so it would take a ram to brake it down.. fairly certain.. there was some flakes of metal on the landing below the door and a few surface scratches but they must of been scared off by the dog barking then the flood lights.. which reminds me.. I fixed the sensors on the floods too today so once they step within 100 ft of the house it'll light up like Christmas tree.. I'm sure that'll deter 'em further.. not like I got anything of real value to steal anyways.. I live a simple life and keep my valuables in a safe place.. the BANK VAULTS as far as being staked out.. highly unlikely cuz cops pass often enough.. and any parked car would be wayyyy too obvious round here..
