Can you "hide" your friends on here. If so, how do you do it?

Yes you can. Go to edit profile and it's on the right and at the bottom.

Can I change my user name?
Once an account has been created, it is not possible to change
its user name. So, in order to get a new user name, you will have
to register again. Since we only allow one Mingle2 account per
email address, you'll have to use another email address to create
the new account. For those who do go this route and register again,
be sure to deactivate your older account.

Go here: http://mingle2.com/user/edit_photos

Left-click on any photo you wish to delete.
This places it in the 'Main' pic position.
Below that position will appear the 'Delete' link.
Left-click the 'Delete' link.
Keep placing any photo you wish to delete
in the 'Main' pic position to delete them.

To add new photos, left-click the 'Browse'
link on the right.
Browse to where your pic is on your computer.
(Pre-placing it on your Desktop, can help here.)

Double left-click the pic to bring it to your
'Edit Photo' page.
Left-click the 'Upload' link beneath the 'Browse' section.

Again, left-clicking any photo will place it in the
'Main' pic position, if that is where you want it.

i have doubt that after having friend also why the add friend button appering ?

Not sure what the question is, as every profile
has a 'Add as Friend' button (link) on it.
