| Topic: How do I turn DVDs into still frames? | |

I have several DVDs of kata forms. I would like to take still shots of the most important parts of the sequences and create a step by step diagram of the whole kata. (as if it were a pictoral manual) It's possible to pause and hit "print screen" then paste into photoshop, but that's taking a really long time. Anyone know of a program that will help take care of this? Thanks! :)

The program supports manual on-click capture as well as timed captures based on seconds, minutes or frames. The captures are automatically saved in the same folder as the video file. Yeah print screen to copy the photo and ctrl + 'V' to paste it onto a word document or something like that. You can also use video players for the same thing. I want to say the wmv player but that might not be the name (it's the one with the orange traffic cone for a logo) has an option to save files of screen captures. Also there is a ton of screen recording software such as NCH (pretty good trial version) software.
