The problem with both sides using gas is, who is Going to prosecute the opposition?

The opposition being US/UK/NATO. Funny old game this Corporate Fascism.

The opposition being US/UK/NATO? In what parallel universe?
I beg your pardon, that list wasn't complete. I forgot to add Saudi Arabia,Qatar,Israel andTurkey. All working with and funding Al Qaeda and the muslim Brotherhood.
you really are making all sorts of assertions, how about a bit of proof?
Your guess is as good as mine.

Syria does not enjoy a good situation, while not responding to Israeli attacks will show its weakness, in the other side with an attempt to answer it would be forced to fight on two fronts, against the opposition forces and against the well-established Israeli war machine.
Syria and Israel are technically still at War!
There is only a Ceasefire between them!
About the same situation as on the Korean Peninsula.
That explains it then. The air strikes are not an act of war because Syria and Israel are Technically At War. All that has occured is that Israel has broken the ceasefire.

The United Nations now have information that the Syrian/Al Qaeda/Islamic Jihadists have used Sarin Gas. It will be interesting to see what action is taken against these terrorists.

and proving obama wrong, yet again...
Nothing wrong with being cautious.

Israel has had to deal with rocket attacks supplied by Syria and Iran for years. Taking out a supply of rockets hardly makes them the instigator of anything. To accuse them of breaking a ceasefire is the ultimate warp of reality.

you really need to stop putting words in People's mouths!
That Airstrike was justified for the simple reason that Syria by stockpiling Iranian Weapons for Hezbollah actually has already broken the Ceasefire!

The word CEASEFIRE means exactly what it says on the tin, cease firing. The warping is to ignore /deny/ whitewash/glossover the ending of a ceasefire.

Ever heard of Selfdefense when attacked?
Seems you think the Assad-Regime is angelic!
Too bad Israel didn't hit them harder!
Besides,when did Syria stop/Cease firing!
There are constant attacks across the Border by Irregulars!
Glad you consider that Ceasing Fire!laugh

i think Israel has shown great self control in not laying waste to about 4 of the countries surrounding them... every day from just about every border Israel has, someone is shooting, bombing, or shooting a missile into Israel. so they take out a few cargo's of weapons that were going to be used against them, and people still gripe... huh

Like I said before, either the war mongers wind their necks in or we are heading for a fall. It is a sign of warped minds when people criticize Leaders for exercising caution. It is also a crazy world we live in when the supposedly civilised world supply arms, money and information to terrorists to overthrow elected governments in the guise of humanitarianism. Are we that dumbed dowm by our corporate media and corporate politicians?

Since 99.9% of all gov't actions is now considered "secret" to its people, and all the info the people get comes from the gov't regulated media outlets.... I'd say Yep!

Anyone who thinks they know the facts, or what the truth really is in these situations is only fooling themselves.

Israel has already won a very important battle, that... is the international public opinion consensus, everyone understands that a nation ( Iran and company ) dominated by dictatorships with religious fanaticism background, can not own destruction mass weapons

...except the people who were actually born there...Without all that colonialism & outside interest to stir the pot, they'd probably live peacefully.

The problem with the human animal is that he refuses to recognize other human animals as fellow humans being and only sees them as animals to be made use of. There's just too much profit in the "old divide & conquer", "let's kill 'em all" crap.

Since there's profit and control involved, I of course blame the bank. It is run by animals that I hesitate to call human. I think they are another (and even lower) species entirely than the human animal.
