I have been on a few one was poor the rest were ok had a fun time and enjoyed the conversation.

A friend of mine set me up on a blind date once. She said I really needed to meet this really great guy she "knew". Turns out she only knew him for two hours between 1am-3am at a seedy watering hole, and decided he was "great" somewhere between her 5th and 6th appletini. He only became perfect for ME, when he declined her closing bell offer.

If I remember right I think I went on one in high school with a friend... kind of in between a blind date and just meeting as a friend though...
It did not go awfully though... cannot say we were a match made in heaven or anything but we got along pretty good. |
