I have received aleast ten different messages from ten different guys telling me to help them. Mingle is a hook up site where people who are busy or heart broken find love. Why should one be looking for job, money and comfort here instead of friendship and love. I think there are more scammers and hungry people here looking for victims. What do you think.

Mingle is for us to find love.

Unfortunately every site has a huge load of scammers. If you find any, report them to the mods.

Just like life outside the internet some people are genuine and some are fake.I think the scammers are looking for some one who is desperate. They are usually easy to spot. Press block report them to mingle and move on.

The site is what you make of it. Just like walking outside of your door every day you need to be able to judge everyone's character. If something seems amiss then odds are you should probably avoid it like the plague. You just have to be aware at all times what's going on and if something sounds too good (or too bad) the chances are you need to distance yourself from it.

Don't be afraid to be picky at all. It's your right to be. Remember this is all about YOU.

I think if you pay attention to the responses, and what they ask from u right away, you can pretty much figure out what they are looking 4. This can be a good sight if you listen to your instincts. First one's are usually right!

I have been on this site for several years and yes these scammers are a nuisance...It's is like you are in a red neck joke from jeff foxworthy...
look for really bad spelling and broken english - and you will find a scammer...
If they say they are from the states and need money to return - you will find a scammer...
If you are over forty and they claim they are young and in love... -You will found a scammer...
(actually it's some fat guy -irregardless of race- in an internet cafe...)
If they talk about "a serious relationship" or "marriage" and they are not anywhere near you - you will find a scammer...
If you see your picture as someone elses profile - You have found a scammer...

You might ask "How do you know these things?" Don't ask - a lot of wasted time an energy - but they didn't get a single shiny penny...now I can spot them within the first or second message - I don't even reply back...Blocking them doesn't accomplish too much because they just put on a new false profile and continue on...

It is also written do not cast your pearls among swine. I say - Do not reward the deceit or greed of others...compassion is one thing rewarding an evil doer is another...Let's not encourage them...
