I know I saw a thread about this before but I cant seem to find it. I have someone that I do not want on my matches but they deactivated their account and I cant seem to remove them. How do I do this ?

How do I remove someone from my Mutual Match list?
IF clicking on the wee box next to their name on your
MutualMatch list does not remove them, you can use this:
http://mingle2.com/mutual_match/delete_connection/XXXXXXX
where the 'Xs' represent their user-number.

To get their user-number, it is the last digits on their
profile page in the address box, replace the 'Xs' with those.

If you do not have an address bar, right click on their
(deactivated) user-name on their profile, click on 'Properties'
on the drop-down menu, and take the user-number from the URL
(link) provided.

This really works :-)

Hi. How did you learn that trick? Is it better than blocking them so you never see them again?

I get an error when i put in the number it says "The page you were looking for doesn't exist.

You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved."

I copied and pasted the number but once again i have to point out this is a deactivated account and I cant seem to remove it from the match list.

It does not matter whether they are deactivated or not
(and indeed this is usually the reason they cannot be
removed from the MM list to begin with, in the ordinary
fashion=checking the blue box next to their name on
your MM list) so, once you plug in their usernumber, it
should do the trick.

I have done this many times, so I am thinking you somehow
did not get it right :-)

By right-clicking on the name (on your Account page)
the drop-down menu (Properties on W8) left-click it
to get their usernumber (always the last digits) then
place it here:
http://mingle2.com/mutual_match/delete_connection/XXXXXXX
replacing the 'XXXXXXX's with it, voila.

Soufie I am also having the same problem. When I click on the picture of the one I want deleted it takes me to the mutual match page where his picture and username are already deleted. My problem is on my home page his picture and user name still appear. The link you gave to the previous person, when clicked on, states that the link has been moved or is no longer working. What to do now?

I see the problem.
I tried to use the link to delete my one Mutual Match
and it also took me to the page you mentioned.

Which has been popping up since they are doodling with
the site.

So, I will document it, the link still stands but it
will take some fixing.

Sorry the link is down :-(
