Why so men in other countries wanna be friends and chat? I mean give me a break I can't hardly understand what your talkin about and vice versa. This site is for datin not chit chattin with people in other countries where we most likely have nothin in common. It just really gets on my nerves.

you can limit those who can send you messages by country , so you will not receive anything out of your area ...
from the main page : settings - limit who can send you mail - live within ..... distance of me
fill the blank with the desired distance in miles , and it's done !

Hmmm true, but still very vague. I'd rather have the option to block certain countries. If I now block those countries using the distance option, I also block ppl that I do want to get mail from.

Haha, well, in some cases discrimination is in the eye of the beholder. Saw a picture somewhere on the forums saying "If a non-white shoots a white person, it's a robbery gone bad. If a white person shoots a non-white, it's discrimination and all h*|| breaks loose."

Basically the countries that have been discussed by ppl, both men and women, in different threads, the countries from which lots of 'spam' is being sent, mainly Nigeria and India. 99.9999 % in my block list is from those countries.
And it has nothing to do with discrimination, I'm simply not interested in 24 yr old Indians/Nigerians, most likely looking to move to a first world country.
If I block that age group, I cannot receive messages from others in that group either, which is not what I want --> One of my friends here is 24 and I would like to be able to stay in touch with her :)

I like to meet (& have met) ppl from all over the world on here. Scamscum are easy to spot, so ignore or block them!

Although it is advertised as a means to find a date, this site isn't exclusively for dating.

Plenty of long-time members are here just to chat. One lady in Africa writes to me occasionally, although it is highly unlikely that she and I will ever meet in person.

I just ignore them. I got a couple of friend requests like that, from some country with a million vowels in the name and the guy sends me a message calling me "dear." Um, no thanks.
