True Love is extinct.

True love is axtant, for the lucky ones to cross paths.

My grandparents have it, they met verry young , family says they've always adored , respected eachother never fought a day they were married, every night they could be seen kneeling down before the bed side by side holding hands and praying, .

I am a dreamer and so I believe true love exists and If we were to open our heart and mind more than our eyes often times we would see it in the people we least expected it.

I believe it is level of compatibility...BUT, you always have that one you have been with or saw at one point in your life you can't forget, which is not rational; just unexplainable.

Everyone of us are unique and everyone has own definition for such beautiful word Love. In the end all us talking about one subject :-)

I tend to agree with the legendary Jim Morrison on this

That's what real love
amounts to - letting a person
be what he really is. Most
people love you for who you
pretend to be. To keep their
love, you keep pretending -
performing. You get to love
your pretence. It's true, we're
locked in an image, an act -
and the sad thing is, people
get so used to their image,
they grow attached to their
masks. They love their
chains. They forget all about
who they really are. And if
you try to remind them, they
hate you for it, they feel like
you're trying to steal their
most precious possession.

I can't see definition of love in your sentences, it's your perception about pretending and illusions but not love

My Definition...
True = not false, fictional, or illusory
Love = acceptance

I believe it exists for those who are brave enough to claim it and strong enough to give it in return.

It does exist, that's why there is so much art, music and literature about the subject. It's a state of perfection we all dream of but it's much rarer than people think. On a par with winning the lottery. Looks have a lot to do with it too unfortunately.

Quote: Experiencing, Acceptance and Interest.
If you have these 3 things then you have love.
If they are in constant motion then you have True Love.
Apply them towards a person and they will become your Lover.

Exactly what I was saying in the poem, but not in your scientific method of speaking. IMHO you never find love looking for the equal opposite of love, which would be hate. It's like saying I want to have a glass of cool, refreshing water, but I'm going to drink scalding, hot water to experience the cool drink. Scientifically, this does not compute!

:) :) :) my apologies, poetry is not my forte. I will go back to see and try to understand.

how would you know what a glass of scolding hot OR cool water was if you've never experienced one or the other before?
only experiencing both, would you then know which type you needed, at any given time. Im not for one moment suggesting that people should go and entwine themselves in its opposite.
experience it for realisation purposes only, yes!.

Im not sure hate is the opposite of love either, sure it can dissolve this errm.. Love, with a click of your fingers.
But i think hate is more of a... inflicting type of reaction.
Again, just because somebody doesn't wish to love you, doesn't mean they are going inflicting hate upon you.

I think alot of people try to apply love or true love to their persona. which is a greedy misinterpretation of the chemistry or forces surrounding, the interesting acceptance of what you wish to experience.

example;
many times ive seen "Looking for man who can accept me for who i am".

to me... this is a very negative factor AAAnd a complete turn off.
speaking from experience, these kind of people will never look to see anything from any other perspective. All they are looking for is support and, some kind of enabling to make themselves feel good.

This is a damn good topic.

I really enjoy your logical sequencing and perspective, thank you whichit
