thought the idea was to get views on profile.. but how come 16 have looked at my post but not viewed and commented on my profile?? how odd !!

I wouldn't give that too much thought if I were you. Since, your on " Rate My Profile" It's not about you personally. Sometimes people feel they have nothning to offer critique wise.

I usually don't " Rate" womens profiles. I would want to know what the men thought as opposed to the women.

But.. only my opinion

Lots of people view threads and leave without commenting because they don't have anything to say, I've done that lots of times. And sometimes, even if I have something to say, I might not say it because I figure it'll only fall on deaf ears or be taken the wrong way.

I rate both genders' profiles, if I have something that I feel is constructive to add. I tend to skip the ones that ask "Am I hot?" and "Would you date me?" Because I feel those are just attention seekers and I don't care to give them any. However, anyone can see if someone needs to add more photos or clean up their text, etc. it doesn't mean they're interested in you personally, it means they're attempting to help you create a successful profile.

The best way to know if a guy is interested in you personally is to get to know them in the threads and start a conversation. I don't think many guys rate profiles, unless they want to make a sexual comment about how "hot" the photos are, which I assume isn't what you were looking for.....

I wouldn't worry about all the views and the subsequent disparity in actual interaction. Just think to yourself- 'I'm successfully filtering out all the dross on here already. Go me!' =p

I only really have two pointers:
*proofread your text - there's a few errors that you may want to clear up. Such as "son grown sons".
*Do away with apologising for your hobbies! You're not "boring", as you put it. Take pride in your interests. When you're passionate about something, it becomes interesting.

That's not what he was saying! He was just joking! It was a play on the words in your title and him subsequently replying. Read the rest of his message - it was one of support! Relax xx
