If I'm not mistaken, there hasn't been a correlating study done that proves that homosexuality is genetic in the first place...I don't think that is the case either, personally, I think it is simply a choice people make. Nothing wrong with that, a lot more people seem to make vastly more stupid decisions, so I think it is low on the totem pole myself.

Act of rape in prison are more often acts of violence not sex.

There is a pecking order in jail as any other society. If you are very low on the pecking order you can be made a concubine but it is more about the absence of women than actual desire for a same sex relationship.

In prison homosexuality exists, like in all other society's, but in prison the taboo against it is strong and many will keep that information to themselves to survive.

Sexual attraction in prison is still a matter of preference.

If a man is attracted to women he will be crave women; if he is attracted to men then he will crave men.

I absolutely disagree that sexual prefer4ence is only a choice. I think every person has an inborn preference and it is not just about gender but personality.

If it were only about gender then any man could be with any woman (and vice versa) and find peace and we all know to well that is not so. Same being for those of same sex attraction.

Having seen how violently people who vary from the given norms are treated I would believe it would take an over whelming internal motivation well beyond any abuse or indoctrination to make a person act on attraction. You like what you like.

I have a good friend who works as a prison guard in a maximum security prison and he told me the saying goes "your gay while you stay". I agree with pacificstar 48 its the absence of women.

Since you already think it's a myth, why are you asking a question you believe you know the answer to? Sounds to me like you just want to stir up a hornet's nest.

That's where I'd start.
