So if we are all related because we all came from Adam and Eve then why aren't there more deformities and numerous other problems that come from so many years of inbreeding?

Relatedness

Your parents are 99.9% the same. You probably know that you receive half of your DNA or genes from each parent. So this means that you are 100% identical to each parent for each set of genes that you get from them. (Click here to learn why this isn't strictly true.)

We are all inbred.

Modern Human Diversity - Genetics

People today look remarkably diverse on the outside. But how much of this diversity is genetically encoded? How deep are these differences between human groups? First, compared with many other mammalian species, humans are genetically far less diverse – a counterintuitive finding, given our large population and worldwide distribution. For example, the subspecies of the chimpanzee that lives just in central Africa, Pan troglodytes troglodytes, has higher levels of diversity than do humans globally, and the genetic differentiation between the western (P. t. verus) and central (P. t. troglodytes) subspecies of chimpanzees is much greater than that between human populations.

In other words, there is more genetic diversity between related Chimpanzees than there is between a person from China and an African. Or pick any two races, still more genetic diversity between sibling chimpanzees in central Africa.

I kind of wonder how many religious people are reading this and thinking I am the anti-Christ. hahaha

You don't know for sure that there aren't any people out there that would read this and think I'm evil for proposing this idea.

Even some religious people who might have had the same thought probably believed it was wrong or evil to think such things. These would be extremists in religious circles. But I know they are out there somewhere. lol

So you're saying you've never seen a religious nut job so you don't believe in them?

Aren't you a sweet young thing. I was just joshin' with the young man. I would've used one of those smiley faces, but that's not my style.

There in does lye the problem with joking around with people on the internet. It's so easy to not realize that someone is joking and get all mad. My response was basically just trying to figure you out. hahaha

Attempted comedy injected into what aspires to be a serious discussion, regardless the venue, is often inappropriate and/or misunderstood.

I wasn't going to reply to this in more depth, because I don't feel that it really deserves much attention. But I'm not able to sleep, so here we go.

You are moving the goal post. You originally asked "I kind of wonder how many religious people are reading this and thinking I am the anti-Christ. hahaha".

Some people might call you evil. Some people call me evil for not liking church music or thinking that the Beatles were overrated. But would someone call you the anti-Christ? Maybe someone who was mentally ill, but even that is a long shot. The anti-Christ has prophecies about him found in Revelation 13, they are very specific. You aren't the center of attention in the world, so you don't fit the profile.

So when I wrote "Somewhere between 0 and none.", I really think I was right on the money.

Asking a question is not evil. The Spanish Inquisition was evil. The Salem Witch Trials were evil. But I digress. I am no geneticist but I would guess that brother/sister original "perfect" genes could have mixed quite a while before the DNA began to develop damage that allows hereditary disease and deformity to develop. Just as dietary "laws" gave people guidelines for foods they should not eat to best avoid food borne pathogens, I believe incest became taboo because of the unfavorable genetic mutations it was recognized to be causing rather than it being considered "wrong".

Maybe monkeys practiced inbreeding and humans were the result? (a little humor for a serious subject)

Or there could have been deformities in the litany of "begat" where no information about the person was provided, just a name. Who knows. Does it mean anything to me today? Negative. Nobody ever sat me down and told me not to have sex with my sister. I just never wanted to all on my own.

I had a person get pissed over a question I asked as a joke once and it wasn't even perverted. A question being evil or not has nothing to do with it. It's a matter of how the individual reacts to the question.

I could ask two people if they wanted a gun. One could say sure and the other could say I was insane for asking them them because they had a cousin who killed themselves with a gun. It's a silly thing. But it does happen and it has nothing to do with if a question is evil or not.

Love your monkey joke by the way. hahaha

izzyphoto1977 If you have more fun the way...Is your own choice. I just have a question for you, I hope you can answer.

Why do you want "to work harder on being evil" ?
