2013 was horrible in general for me, but I am hopeful that 2014 will be better.

How do you rate the year"2013"? Good or Bad I didn't smoke even a single cigarette through out the year, that too without taking any help of medicine! (I was a chain smoker.) Happy New Year to all minglers.  Well done on your none smoking year. I broke the habit in 1992, the first year was the worst and believe it or not, I still get a craving for a cigarette from time to time. 2013 was a good year for me, spending time visiting my family and friends overseas on my holidays. Wishing everyone all the very best in 2014 and good luck in their search for a partner. Happy New Year.

It was the year from hell for me until August; then my life got so much better with a fantastic new job, spending more time with my friends, and being able to pay off some major bills. If we never go through the sorrow we won't feel the value of happiness. (Though I try to be stoic.) Congratulation for your new job.  Happy New year to you &all of your friends. Thanks so much. I can understand going through sorrow but sometimes it gets a bit much to handle that you just want to give up on life. I seriously thought I had nothing to look forward to. |

Can't say I can complain two surgery's that went with no complications that I can not handle at least the results were not what I was afraid of so blessed in many ways...
New great great niece & nephew came into the family...Brother and sister in-law had surgery's that were successes as well.. My step sister has made 10 years after a liver transplant and still going strong.... Yes we have had our heartaches lost a couple of cousins one due to cancer one to a heart attack and lost a dear friend to cancer way to young... But yet still blessed.... Fixing to be at my new job this year for 3 years that I love dearly... My bosses are my brother and his partner/best friend of 35 years..... Sure I ended up with plenty of medical bills to pay but nothing that will get me down all the way... Have house repairs out of my azz that needs done ect I will work on those this year .... I'm blessed for I do have a house, car, food on my table and a dog that is my best buddy, my kids and grand kids are doing well and happy ....many things that others don't have... No matter how bad things may get I have to remember it can always be worse. And on top of it all have a new granddaughter due May 7th so this year is looking good too...  |
