Sorry but i have been in the bar biz for 20 yrs and to be honest most of those pickup lines don't work. People seem to like it when someone is genuine instead of using a practiced line.

I totally agree.

A few weeks back a guy said to me
'I have a joke about my c--k, but it's a long one
so I just casually replied
'I have a joke about my p--sy, but you'll never get it.

needless to say he walked away with his tail between his legshappy

.A pick up line in general will not work. However experience has demonstrated that if the other person is interested truly, they will respond to almost anything if there is chemistry. Strong emotional and sexual chemisitry can make lines unnecessary. i have simply looked at a woman and smiled and we both kissed and went to the parking lot for more visual representation. A general rule is to be direct, honest and sincere as that is the gentlemanly way of initiating any social interaction.. Also if the initial response to the opening line is not met with acceptance the best course and response is to thank the other person for being honest and wish them well, once in a blue moon the woman has then changed her mind as she was curious to see my response to her rejection and then appreciated kindness and not hostility.A gentleman is always a gentleman whether the other person is crass, vulgar, drunk, idiotic, psychotic, delusional, indifferent, bored, aloof.....Others are observing how each person responds and strangely enough, some will respond by acknowledging how well the gentleman acted and do their own initiating in response to a gentlemans behaviors...

Depends on where you are, or the person that you're trying to pull. I always find that just being yourself and confident, then the rest comes naturally. Cheesey lines, will only get you a lonely walk home, while that confident, natural guy, walks out the bar or club with the woman that you could've been with!

Yeah. I just prefer to have a conversatiion, or jokingly trip over. I've always found pick-up lines a bit sleazy. And it's always the same one's you've heard from OTHER guys. I'm always like "Heard it all before". I prefer the witty comebacks. laugh

-Don't be shy...your parents weren't:wink:

This one is not an opener but its hilarious to see the expression on their face for that split second out in a bar setting
after you both have expressed interest & joined tables.
When she pulls out money to pay for her drink ask her this:

"Hey do think I'd be able to borrow 10 bucks 'til my wife gets paid?
(or Mum gets paid). either one will make her choke.
and then start laughing right away and say "I'm just f*in with ya"
and buy her the drink.shades
You will have something to laugh about for a while.
