I used to play card and board games at the MSN Game Zone. Now, MSN has
recently revamped Zone so that it is the epitome of a wasted website.

So I have 2 questions:

1) Has anyone on here that used to play on Zone.com find that the "new"
zone totally sucks?

2) Anyone know where else I can go to play card games like Spades,
Hearts, Euchre and Cribbage and board games like Backgammon and Chess?
Please don't tell me Yahoo, because I don't like it there either.

Also, Txs Gal, does Pogo have Friend's Lists, Lobbies you can chat in
and different variations of spades that I could play?

I am a member of pogo.com. The friends list is for all that join and
not just the club pogo. It is where I try to get people to go and chat.
One lady from here joined me for chess and backgammon. Backgammon is
better for chatting and playing as requires less thought, LOL. The
different types of slots are great chat rooms for groups of people. I
even suggested once before that all of us from here set a time and meet
up there but nothing became of it. Sci Fi slots is where I normally go
when looking for a group chat. Then table games like chess for one on
one chat. You can even make the tables private so no one pops up as a
watcher and stuff to bug ya.

I tried Pogo and it seems to be exactly what I am looking for.

However, it seems like every single screen name that I try has already
been taken. And I have tried some really outlandish ones too; ones that
I know no one would use.

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing there are alot of members in there what I did was put my name in
I wanted then put numbers behind it mine in there is meow3333 after
the meow each time it popped back like someone had it i just added an
extra 3 lol then bingo finally lol

hummm fingers are faster than my mind this morning go figure lol

I got sort of lucky. There is only one other honeyrobber. And he does
not keep bees, LOL. But I had a simular time trying to get a good screen
name there years ago. So I am honeyrobber72 on pogo.

So it's a matter of trying a number after the name till it works? Is
that the ticket?

thats it, lol and nooo your not it's just some times it's the simple
solutions that the ones with knowledge do not think about. hummm

Pogo is world wide. I have chatted with people from England, Germany,
Japan, Austraila, the philipines and probly many more. So just about all
screen names are taken in some form. A few like myself have 2 screen
names there. I rarely use the other one. But if you get a troll bugging
you you can sign out and back in and enjoy your time there again.
Millionbeets is my other name there. It was a typo as it was suppose to
be millionbees. I have no idea how I got the T in it. But thank goodness
I told it to save screen name. I did not notice it until someone asked
if I was a beet farmer or a drummer.

Ohh I have a friend that of all things is an International Lawyer in
Anthens Greece I play canasta with all the time and some great ones in
NY that I play different games with One is a truck driver that was doing
cross country when he is stopped unloading or loading we pass the time
in pogo together or IM lots of kewl people hell even ended up meeting
someone on there that I dated for over a year and I'm not in there for
that just friends which is what most are lol well at least most lol.

See, this is the sorta stuff that I used to do on the old MSN Game Zone.
It was the people I played with that made card playing fun.

I will keep trying for a screen name. I will let you 2 know what it is
when i get one, how's that?

And I wanna learn Canasta! So someone teach me that too!

And all those out there who think the so-called "New & Improved" MSN

But.... sometimes pogo is down and ya have to have somewere to go I also
go to grab.com which is a free site also I just go there to play only
don't even talk lol but the games I play there are the one player games
lol

Sure delux let us know like I said will send you a free pass to club
pogo to use for 5 days.

Also hell let me know I'll play canasta with ya heck been playing that
game since I was knee high to a jack rabbit lmao
opps telling my age actually my granny and dad and aunts and uncles use
to play that game when I was growing up and finally got to sit in and be
my grannys partner when they were short handed a player lol
