Some of you long time members might remember my original "He did it" thread about my son being accepted into Grad School to get his PhD. It was quite awhile ago and I could not find the original thread so I started a new one.

He did it...again! My 26 y/o son is graduating in about one month with his PhD as an Electrical Engineer from Russ Engineering School, Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio! Please send him well wishes and congratulations! His dissertation is complete and 210 pages long! (He insists I'll be able to understand it....I'll take that as a compliment...lol)laugh

So, thanks to those who have followed his success story with me in the past few years. He has put a lot into this degree. The well wishes I received from here have meant a lot. Thanks peepsflowerforyou

Sweets thats amazing!

My son is about to go there for the same program only undergrad. We toured Russ. Engineering and computer science program.

Thats actually a big reason Im moving down there.

yes it is a great community to live in also. Russ Engineering is a good school. One of the newer schools at the university. The Freshman have an engineering competition every year that my son's older brother actually won years ago when he was there :)

I have another son starting there next fall also or at least he intends to as far as I know. Their father used to work for Fritz Russ, who is the school's namesake :)
