Ok, I'm on the train to work and I see some women wearing high heels to work? Why? Why not walking shoes to work? Why heels ever? They look like torture devices.

So ladies, do you like wearing heels?

I do like wearing them, though not to work. For work I wear a comfortable dress shoe.

I tend to like tall men and a little heel makes reaching for a kiss a bit easier. So on special nights out, heels are a must. If you get the right one, they will not hurt your feet though.

rofl. Yes. Yes. You're so right. They really CAN be torture to wear. Never again will I wear them. They made my toes stay in an upright position after a while. And they hurt quite a bit. My toes had to get straightened out at the dr's surgery. They ended up like spiders legs. Where they stopped going flat. My dr warned me, that if i ever wore them again, i'll only injure myself more. Can't believe the amount of pain I was in.

I hardly wear heels. I'd wear them on special occasions..church, business event, fashion shows, etc etc. I dnt really like heels that much. I'm obsessed with dresses.

I still wear heels on special occasions but not to work that often. I like the way they look with dresses. Usually I wear boots or cross trainers

The only heels I wore lasted on my feet for about five minutes. Even with my suits, I wear boots or sneakers. :)

The weight shift of heels place the foot in a running position with the body weight on the ball of the foot. This position causes a contraction of the calf muscle with associated swelling.

Men are genetically hardwired for an affinity for the curvature of the hip to waist in females giving a positive indication of ability to birth children. The curvature "spillover" causes affinity to the curvature of the calf muscle also thus making the owner of the expanded calf muscle "hot".

Thanks! It has become a signature of mine at work, so to speak. Haha. My only thought before was that I should be comfortable with what I'm wearing, and I didn't care about having to look good. I figured, that would follow. :)
