Hi everyone :) I don't wanna come across as being dramatic. It's just that it's been hard for me to relax, because of how much pain I'm in. I have an abcess on the left side of my mouth, and it's made that side of my face look like I have a hamster pouch. The pain feels like someone is constantly holding ice cream on it. It makes me want to scream. Then my throat feels persistently dry. So much so, that I need to have drinks into the early hours of the morning. I've been drinking a lot. I've lost weight I didn't even know was there. I'm thinner than usual. I have a constant high temperature. I feel knocked about.

Thanks. I worry he'll ask me to open my mouth though, as that's hard to do, given the pain I'm in.

I feel really weak right now. Gonna try and sleep it off. Hopefully it'll be gone by then. Bye for now.

A dentist can give you a shot to stop the pain. A dose of antibiotics will clear up the infection. Some pills to take home will keep the pain down till the infection is cleared up.

Thanks for trying to help me, everyone ;) The pain seems to have cleared up now. Felt like my mouth was on fire. If I knew they could cause sudden death or a stroke, I would have gone to A&E, but I just assumed it WASN'T that bad. Oh well, if it ever happens again, I'll know. Thanks all drinker

I agree, then he will give you ani-biotics that are huge tablets and hard to swallow when your mouth is in pain.
Why don't they make them smaller

You need antibiotics and a root canal, or have the tooth pulled.

Get yourself to a doctor or dentist now. It's not going to go away buy itself. Don't be an idiot.

I used to work in a dental office and you definitely need to see a dentist. The infection won't go away by itself and if it gets into your blood stream you can become seriously ill. Having a fever and swelling like that is a sing of infection. They will give you antibiotics and pain meds to help you.
