well another day has come to a close...

got LOTS done today YIPEE finished the lawn YAY.. actually replaced the 3 rotting deck boards without too much trouble.. lotsa sweat but not too much trouble.. aside from having to take down all the railings FIRST then I managed to get the Benz uncovered (she still had her winter wraps on ) and took a look under the hood.. surPRISE.. a mouse had made a nice lil winter nest for itself in the space where TYPICAL cars have their battery.. however lil 'mickey' will have to make a NEW one for NEXT year anywho.. got her all dusted and put the car cover back on till I can get a new battery for her.. stupid me forgot to turn OFF the dang fog lights last fall that'll teach me.. AND.. I cleaned up the driveway around the jet skiis.. wow.. lotsa LEAVES hanging out under THAT tarp.. PHEW..

I'm content with my day though.. tomorrow.. I'm hoping to finish the pool.. gotta give it a quick back wash FIRST.. check all the connections for LEAKS.. then flip da switch
life is pretty good today

quiet work week here.. so far that is.. hoping for some craziness.. could use the extra moolah.. OR I'll need ta find me a roommate..

weird how, when the kids were home.. all those years I managed to keep things going without TOO much stressing.. work was solid.. girls weren't TOO needy.. and we even had a lil left over for some fun stuff.. now that I'm empty nested.. ya'd THINK it'd be EASIER.. however, things just seem to be getting tougher by the day this too shall pass.. hopefully sooner rather than later

sometimes it just seems... all the dreams I had to put on hold to be a responsible parent.. stay there TOO long and now.. needs a MASSIVE dose of WD-40 to get'em UNstuck
