It's really sad liberals chose this token. There are many qualified and quality Negros who could have put this country in order and brought people together. Instead, they chose a drama queen. His boyfriend is even embarrassed to be seen with him. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hoosein is Soros puppet.
His commenting on a person who actually does something for the negro community was a blatant attempt at separation. Now, I'll explain my stance again. I have many negro friends. They are from Mexico and other south American countries. They'll cut a **** if ya call them African American. Ya either from Africa or America. Any other designation is separatist, IMO. |

The other evening President Obama was speaking at another of his news conferences when he said... "When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance you don't have to do anything, just let them talk." I've been pondering this statement ever since trying to figure out what he meant. Any ideas? I guess that he means that you don't have to argue with an idiot because anyone that isn't an idiot will see that they are idiots. Something like that. Don't know what the context is though. Maybe he was having a dig at his predecessor. for clarification on context,,lol,, not about his predecessor he made the statement at a press conference in MALAYSIA when ASKED to respond to reported racist statements made by an (NBA?) team owner,,, "When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk," Obama said when asked to respond to the reported comments from Los Angeles Clippers' owner Donald Sterling. Thank you for the detailed clarification, msharmory. ![]() I understood the direct context the president was implying, but the statement itself caught my attention and I reversed my DVR so I could jot down that exact quote and have been contemplating it's deeper meaning than how he surface applied it. My freakish mind works that way, can't help it... ![]() Anyway, first I had to define with my own logic what he meant by the word "ignorance"... and I thought he could be referring to a fundamental "lack of knowledge" or an even deeper meaning... a form of "bigotry" in which feelings are developed and expressed based on the level of knowledge one possesses. But the president also said, "advertise their ignorance" which threw me, because the coach was one person having a private conversation and probably didn't know he was being recorded so his personal stance could be disclosed publicly. Which started my wheels turning that the president was generalizing, and I wanted to get to the meatier aspects of his terminology. So overall, and in context, was he lauding the secret recording by saying "you don't have to do anything other than let them talk... (meaning of "do anything"... like instigate the conversation to entrap)? Do you get where I'm coming from? P.S. It's like he was saying... If you know people have issues or agendas you can stand quietly by and listen to what they're saying to profile them. Much like the NSA has been doing to most of us Americans so they'll know the lovers and the haters. Because... 1) Most people don't curb their tongue especially when they're passionate about something. 2) Most people don't think what they're saying can or might be used against them if everybody's on board. Needless to say, the president really got me thinking on this subject. its interesting, but I doubt there was anything deeper than a response to a specific question about a specific person and something they said Cambridge dictionary advertise: to make something known generally or in public, esp. in order to sell it: so, though we most often associate advertising with something public, it isn't necessary,,,,,,,the conversation sounded to me as if this man made it 'generally' known to this woman through many different conversations how he felt about being 'seen' with black people,,,,, |

Some here are quick to yell that there is still racism in America. To a very MINOR degree, that is true. There are always some who just don't move forward or consider anything other than what they are conditioned or raised to believe, but like I said, they are a true minority of bigots, haters or the uninformed. This case of the team owner bears that out. He is being chastised from all sides, and not just blacks! The outrage to his comments have spanned the globe! He may be a billionaire, and the LA NAACP even says they "forgive" him (he supports them financially of course..... a tax write-off), but the ridicule from all sides speaks volumes to the fallacy that racism is alive and well to the degree many would like to state it does. There will always be haters in the world, always has been, but perception and reality are not always one and the same...... except in the minds of some. To them I say..... get over yourself! Most don't play that game any longer. We all walk the same Earth, under the same Sun, and if you have an issue with race, color or creed, it's your cross to bear, not others! Like this rich fool failed to realize, these days, there's always someone listening..... and THAT.... is an issue! |

Hi Soul, I appreciate you adding to the conversation about Stiviano vs. Sterling, but you accidentally crossed conversations by posting this on the wrong thread. I'd be glad to continue this conversation if you repost to the "Is Stirling clipped" thread. Thanks for your consideration and understanding... ![]() |

Only difference between the bigotry of this dude and Fairycan is, Fairycan won't allow any white folks or Jew's in his club.

'Check out who was perfectly willing to have his name attached at the top of the same announcement as NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Donald Sterling.

Looking like the NBA Commission is doing the PC and money saving option.
Dude is permanently banned and will be forced to sell his team. If anyone really believes that decision is based on any morals call, I call BS. As stated in the article, to avoid a strike. All about the bucks. |
