Allah made him do it. Mohammed had his pleasure raiding villages and selling its women.

THIS IS A NIGERIAN PROBLEM. LET THEM WORK IT OUT. THE US NEEDS TO STAY OUT OF IT.

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — Nigeria's Islamic extremist leader is threatening to sell the nearly 300 teenage schoolgirls abducted from a school in the remote northeast three weeks ago, in a new videotape received Monday.

Abubakar Shekau for the first time also claimed responsibility for the April 15 mass abduction.

He threatened to attack more schools and abduct more girls.
"I abducted your girls," said the leader of Boko Haram, which means "Western education is sinful."

He described the girls as "slaves" and said "By Allah, I will sell them in the marketplace." The hour-long video starts with fighters lofting automatic rifles and shooting in the air as they chant "Allahu akbar!" or "God is great."

It was unclear if the video was made before or after reports emerged last week that some of the girls have been forced to marry their abductors — who paid a nominal bride price of $12 — and that others have been carried into neighboring Cameroon and Chad. Those reports could not be verified.

A screengrab taken on March 24, 2014 from a video obtained by AFP shows a man claiming to be the lea …
In the video, Shekau also says the students "will remain slaves with us." That appears a reference to the ancient jihadi custom of enslaving women captured in a holy war, who then can be used as sex slaves.

"They are slaves and I will sell them because I have the market to sell them," he said, speaking in the Hausa language of northern Nigeria.

The video was reviewed by The Associated Press and both the face and the voice of the leader of Boko Haram were recognizable.

Shekau brushed off warnings that the abductions could be an international crime, saying in English, as if to reach his accusers in the international community: "What do you know about human rights? You're just claiming human rights (abuses), but you don't know what it is."

UPDATE;

PROTEST LEADER ARRESTED.

Nigeria: Police arrest leader of protests over abducted girls

Robert Spencer May 5, 2014 at 3:27pm Nigeria 19 Comments

NigeriaProtesterHere again we see the rule that non-Muslim leaders and spokesmen accept with increasing alacrity: do not offend Islam. These protests not only embarrass the Nigerian government by highlighting its powerlessness against a jihad group; they also bring unwelcome attention to the phenomenon of Qur’anically-sanctioned sex slavery in Islam (4:3), which no one wants to discuss or acknowledge. Better to arrest Naomi Mutah Nyadar than to let international attention be focused on that.

“Nigeria police arrest protest leader for abducted girls,” Reuters, May 5, 2014 (thanks to Maxwell):

ABUJA (Reuters) – Nigerian authorities have arrested a leader of a protest last week in the capital Abuja that called on them to do more to find more than 200 girls abducted by Islamist rebels, a presidency source and another organizer of the protest said on Monday.

Boko Haram insurgents, who want to carve an Islamic state out of Nigeria, stormed a secondary school in the village of Chibok, northeast Nigeria, on April 14. They carted off the girls in trucks and nothing has been heard of them since.

The police spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the arrest, but the presidency source said Naomi Mutah Nyadar had been detained for allegedly and falsely claiming to be the mother of one of the missing girls.

Nyadar was picked up late on Sunday after a meeting she and other campaigners had held with President Goodluck Jonathan’s wife, Patience, concerning the girls.

She was taken to Asokoro police station, near the presidential villa, said fellow protester Lawan Abana, whose two nieces are among the abductees.

“Ms Naomi was arrested yesterday evening,” he told Reuters by telephone. “We are begging them to save our daughters. Instead of taking steps to rescue them they are jailing us.”

The presidency source said: “(Nyadar) was arrested because of impersonation. She claimed that she was one of the girls’ mothers, so she’s just being questioned by the police.”

Abana denied Nyadar had made any such claim.

“They are claiming it is a hoax and that her daughter was not abducted. But when we say ‘bring back our daughters’ the campaign means it in the broader sense of ‘daughters of Nigeria’,” Abana said. “They are so clueless.”…

A mindless and ultimately pointless attempt at terrorism by a clearly unintelligent, violent criminal group, with only collatoral damage achieved where no specific objective could possibly be attained. All you can do with individuals like this is stand them up against a wall and shoot them, clearly.

What I can't help but wonder, however is if you in fact support them and are attempting to divert accountability from these criminals for this crime. You further threaten the safety of minors which are still being held unlawfully against their will.

You see, what you geniuses have managed to achieve here is to hold a religion accountable for a criminal act. This elicits two legal establishments:
1. that the criminals are not responsible for their crimes, their religion is.
2. that the criminals cannot be prosecuted for their crimes, you will have to subpoena Allah to appear before a court and answer charges in order to prosecute these criminals on a lesser charge.
Secondly your answer to combat crime is to commit more crime: religious persecution to answer violent but clearly incompetent attempts at terrorism in undeveloped nations. Congratulations twice, you're as intellectually unevolved as these violent criminals.

Blame the religion when you see gods tossing lightning bolts at people. Otherwise, try holding criminals and terrorists accountable for criminal and terrorist acts. At least they can be prosecuted.

Do you have proof that it is in fact propaganda as you claim?

ABUJA (Reuters) - The Islamist militant group Boko Haram claimed responsibility on Monday for the abduction of more than 200 schoolgirls during a raid in the village of Chibok in northeast Nigeria last month, the French news agency AFP reported, citing a video it had obtained.

The criminal elements should be held accountable, yeah.

He did state he is doing the illegal action in the name of Allah and to honor the pedophile Mohamed.

Where are the Muslims condemning this action?

I couldn't call them not intelligent. They have been pulling this kind of crap off successfully for years and committing massacres at boys schools.

I will say this on Obama's behalf. I commend him for offering resources. Were going to be sending military, law enforcement and specialists in those areas to assist and girls and capture this Terrorist Warlord behind. I think it's the right thing to do for many reasons.

He said he's going to sell 9 year old girls as child brides for 12 dollars. I really hope that when\if they find him this isn't a capture but a kill mission like the Osama raid.
