Guys-

Why when you request to an evaluation (mutual match), and we email you don't write back? I mean, I for example appreciate anyone who writes, because that is the way we meet new people, which is the reason I'm here for. So that being said, I don't mind if you are male/female, friendships are welcome!

Hi Lou,
What a cute little boy you have. I have a 6 year old son myself who is the love of my life.

I've heard quite a few folks complaining about this. One lady complained and even left the site because she thought the men weren't getting her emails or what have you and felt it was the sites fault for not delivering the messages.

Maybe she was right, I don't know.

Wasn't me!Sometimes when a guy tells you he will call. It actually means sometime before they die! I forget who first said it.

I'm unsure I can not answer for all guys or men for that matter.

But maybe just maybe he has been away from his pc or home and working long hours. Countless reason's for this. I surely do not know.

But if a woman write's me I would try my very best with in a reasonable time to get back to them.

Just like I signed up reasonly for a free offer I got on another dating site because I had a match but wasn't a paid memeber so they offered me free seven days but I have to cancel before the seven day which isn't to big of a problem since I do not want billed, any how I haven't heard anything from that match since I told that site basically yeah I feel the same way they do about me, and so I'm still waiting a respond hoping it comes before the six day.

But one never know really, that person could have went away or just been busy and has forgotten to check his email.

I can't address the Mutual Match question, specifically, because I've never had one. I do know there are some people here who simply do not reply to e-mails at all. Up until now, I assumed they were all female and living in Illinois!

Thank you my son is 8, and I also have an 11 yr old daughter. I had a man the other day write me back saying that it was the first time anyone ever wrote back to him. Some of us are good at writing others at talking, I do both!!

I would also love to know why men tell you they will call you back "tonight". What a crock. Why is it men tell women anything they THINK we want to hear. Wow, it would really be nice just to hear the truth for once. I, for one, enjoy chatting or writing back to everyone. But, most men, refuse to chat. What's up with that? I don't think they are all "away" from their computer.

Lula, my personal philosophy is that if someone took the time to write, they are entitled to a reply, just out of common courtesy, if nothing else. I reply to everyone, with the exception of stalkers and trolls and obvious nutjobs, and I have received very few of those here....

I don't understand the whole match thing and honestly I don't understand the whole friends thing~~~it seems to me, someone wanted to be on my list but then they never talk to me?? HMMM what is up with that? I just don't get it!!!
I actually had one person write me on the mutual match thing and he said that he would appreciate it if I wrote him back. I did but he never answered me back??? I just don't get it...I don't understand what people think..you ask someone to write you back but then you don't show the respect and write them back. Even if you are not interested in them...I am not looking for marriage, its already stated in my profile that I just want friends.
I think people are just strange!! I guess you just have to go with the flow!!! Good luck flowerforyou

Hi lulaprflowerforyou ,

Here's a scenario that faces me:

I did the "mutual match" and actually matched up with a lady. I'm like, "All right". She's right here in Knoxville, I go to contact her--and I can't. I'm blocked because I don't meet her criteria. In the age limits, the minimum age for guys to be able to contact her is 2 years older than I am. The thing that you're not realizing here, Lulpar, is a muyual match is decided by BOTH the people involved. In other words, she chose me, also. I'd like to contact her, but I can't. I'm just saying that there are someimes good reasons why the man doesn't make 1st contact.

My "Mutual Match" thing doesn't work. I just and error that says "400 Bad Request". I think it's my outdated browser causing the problem, but whatever the cause it just don't workiepooh.

See Knoxman...why did she even pick you? I just don't get it!! I think when people put restrictions on their profile where only certain people can email them....they might be missing out on that special person!! UGGGG maybe I get annoyed to easily, I just don't get it though grumble
