I noticed that many tv actors turn up in several series at the same time. I sometimes find that annoying as I get into a series and its characters, so when I see Crowley (Supernatural) appear in Warehouse 13, it doesn't really compute :/ To me he's still Crowley. I like Crowley, my fave character in Supernatural, so how can he suddenly be someone else?

Then there's actor from Continuum and Arctic Air mixing up all over the place. Is there a shortage of Canadian actors???
It was okay to see Hugh Dillon (Flashpoint) turn up in Continuum, as Flashpoint has stopped, but still. And Alex (Erik Knudsen, main character in Continuum) was in a Flashpoint episode as well.
Then this guy that always wears a stetson, bad guy in Arctic Air, turns up in COntinuum as the chief of police, I still see the bad guy from Arctic Air. I get confused, lol.
Then this hunk that used to be the main character in Primeval New World, turns up in Arctic Air is Christa's new boyfriend.
Now I don't mind seeing that guy again, he makes great eye-candy
But surely Canada must have more actors, such a big country?

And the other day I saw Saul Rubinek (Artie in Warehouse 13) in another series. But he's still Artie, it just don't work!!

Not sure if anyone here watches "Reign". That Nostradamus dude was in Flashpoint (sorry, I was a big Flashpoint fan, and keep seeing actors that appeared in that show).
Also Enrico Colantoni (Greg Parker in Flashpoint), now he's a doctor in "Remedy", pffff ... To me he's still the boss from SRU.

The most confusing one, the identical twins Aaron Ashmore (Warehouse 13) and Shawn Ashmore (The Following). I kept thinking "he's the same dude, ain't he?" then I found myself thinking "Nah, they somehow look different, but still ... "
Googled it, found out they're twins.

Also peculiar, the overlap in Chicago PD and Chicago Fire. Guess Chicago Fire could do with a boost as I read it isn't received that well. I stopped watching it myself, didn't think the story-line and acting was all that good. Do like Chicago PD though.

Anyone else has this typecasting 'prob'?

It's called acting and well actors need to work so they take what they can get I have noticed a lot of British actors are staring on american tv shows like Andrew Lincoln ,Lauren Cohan,David Morrissey, Lennie James ,Charlie Hunnam just to name a few

I dont watch alot of tv, so I havent really faced that problem. Having family in acting, I do know they can be scheduled on a few different things during the year to keep working and they can also film something that doesnt get released until much later, sometimes simultaneously with other projects.

With more and more shows being filmed outside of California, I wonder if location has anything to do with who appears in shows.
