hello everyone :) I was supposed to take my kids to wales camping and we were really looking forward to it until all the rain happened for all of those who live in Birmingham you know what I mean lol. well I had this thought what about camping in the back garden for the week instead we have everything we need and we will be heading back into the house for essential maintenance lol. I will also be making it really comfortable im already planning on making cushions and tea light holders for the night so it wont seem so ( were in the back garden) lol. I think i have all bases covered but do you think its totally bonkers, help lol :)

I don't think it's bonkers at all, I know when I was a kid and the much anticipated camping trip was cancelled for some reason or other, camping in the back yard was the next best thing.
Even though it was only the back yard us kids had a good time. |

Very good idea. I live in the forest on the top of a mountain so this is where the flatlanders come to camp my yard camping includes using the trampoline to sleep on. Lol the kids love it...yes do it you won't be sorry... If it does start to rain you can dash in until its over... The best of both worlds...

Very thoughtful. I wish I'd had a great mom like you. that was very sweet but im not perfect no mom is and if they say they are there lying. I had a seriously terrible mom but the way I see it ( at least I know what not to do and I just roll with that

Good idea, children have a great imagination and although you only see it as a backyard kids can see it as anywhere in the world or further

Camping in your back garden, lol, nice to Know others are as silly as me, my little girl loves it when the rain comes down and we are in the tent. Never gone camping in Wales, but love the lakes, but have fun were ever you go, Ferry,x.

It's great my kids and I got rained out with our easter weekend camping. My kids are currently asleep in there tents in the back yard. It's great and the kids love it we've even done toasted marshmallows lol
