How awful. We do such terrible things to each other and we have so much death and negative news in the news. I sure wish it at least seemed like there was more of a balance between highlighting death and promoting life.

The syrian terrorist,Osama group,Hamas,Hezbolla,pkk,somalia islamic terrorists.boko haram,ISIS,etc all have western backers either covertly or overtly.The chicken would come home to roast soon

Barry acted real well. Looks like he's getting the hang of it. He might look into an acting career with his performance of the news. ISIS and, I wouldn't doubt, the NOI is celebrating the beheading of an American who happened to be Caucasian.

Ever heard of the Commonwealth,where Citizens from all sorts of former Colonies went and got educated in British Schools? Your right and they are waiting for Americas next move ... and what makes you think they wont kill them anyway ... from their actions so far ... what could they possibly want to trade for this journalist? to me Isis are just cold blooded killers ...I do not even see how their own religion ...would redeem them from any of this... an all that are with them ...

It's not a clean cut beheading ya know. So much for training. Last beheading I watched was horrifying. They use a bowie knife and SAW the live persons head off. It took as long as two minutes to complete. Not kind at all. Mind you the brain also takes 6 minutes to die from lack of oxygen.

obama should have ordered multiple bombing missions as soon as he learned of the murder and if it happens again order double the bombings and then triple and so on you say but that will kill number two maybe so but they made a chioce to work in a dangerous environment and chances are it may save the life of number 3 or 4 or 5 and so on and if it is learned they kidnap an american a bombing mission on them this wimpy attitude has to stop some civilians may get hurt or killed you say ---- maybe those civilians should hold those making their people look and act horrendously responsible
