This seems a wee glitchy so we will move it to the 'Help' forum. I also can see your picture on your profile just fine but cannot see it here. I have seen this before when the picture is much wider than it is tall, as yours is.

That is odd, blanche1939. I would suggest purging the photo and then re-uploading it. I will document the issue, but purging/re-unloading might be the faster solution.
