Topic: How do you keep a man happy?

I have tried everything to keep a man happy. Doing all the housework, cooking for them, shopping for our food, and helping them with work, and of course in the bedroom. It seems that the more I do the more they want and when it's not enough they abuse. I have thought of course it must be the wrong guy so I have tried changing the guy for a different guy but it's always the same in the end. So what is the secret to keeping a man happy?

if the same thing is happening over and over,
you may need to reflect inwards for answers....

I'm not sure that's good advice. Growing up without both parents is not healthy (I grew up in that circumstance, that's just my experience), so unless the guy has done a lot of work on himself with therapy, etc, I don't think singling out a guy without a stable family history is a good idea.

People are different, so there's no one answer to how to make a guy happy. Doing things for people is nice, but you have to actively try to get to know them first. If you don't really know their personality or who they are, they're likely just to treat you like a stranger without connection.

That's probably why they readily abuse you, because in their mind, you're the house workhouse. That's not an excuse for abuse, of course, but your relationship with your guy shouldn't be defined by what you've done for him lately.

Make a real effort to learn about the person you're with. Ask lots of questions, even if they seem personal. We're talking about someone you would want to spend your life with, after all.

In that case moms should not be too nurturing to their kids or they will grow up to abuse women?

Poor baby.

All I know is feed them food, and they keep coming for more.

Not to mention Revlon and Cool Water.

But then you've done it all, and nothing is working for you.

Poor baby.

You should come over and we'll watch the focker movies together.
Strange way to kill a Saturday night but that's life , I guess.

bks17, Lot's of times I find that guys don't like getting too personal about themselves, not sure why that is.

willing2, That is pretty funny.

argo63, It could be the problem is me, but I don't know what I should do differently to be honest. It always seems like a no win situation.

Seems you're caught in a repetitive cycle.

Do some serious introspection.
If you're tired of catching the same type of bottom feeders
over and over, change the bait you're using.

To all the men,
What is the happiest you've ever been in a relationship? What kinds of things did the woman do that made you happy?

been told that happy attracts happy....so maybe the problem is yourself.....if you are unhappy and project that, that is what you are going to attract, I would suggest making yourself happy and stop worrying about making a man happy......do stuff that makes you happy, join a club, or try a new hobby....go out and have fun and I bet you will find a man who is happy with who he is and doesn't require you to make him happy.
