As we honor our veterans today in our country, we’re thinking about the men and women who have been engaged in the Iraq and Afghan wars. Most of us have family members who served, and we are forever thankful for their sacrifice.

The Bush Institute Military Initiative is dedicated to helping veterans re enter civilian life. This is a great thing, because too many people don’t realize how hard it is mentally to go from a soldier deployed overseas for so long, to being a ‘regular’ person.

Our veterans made a huge sacrifice and we need to do our best as a society to honor them.

President Bush reminds us that, “We can never fully repay the debt we owe to the men and women who wear the uniform, but it is our duty to try.”

In position of president, he regularly solicits policy and law to aid vets,,,

people all over the nation have paid tribute in different ways, from planting a flower or staging some 'event',,,why use it as another source of division while in the same breath claiming to support VETS who die and are injured for a 'united' states?

Obama paid tribute all right. He has the VA so F'ed up right now where they can not get done whatever is needed to get done to make them better and save their lives, but no we get one VA scandal after the next.

to use the actions of one or some to prove others less valuable simply deepen the divide in humankind, and generate more bias and hate, keeping all from having a better place to live in together.

The red team, the blue team, their only hope is in keeping the masses divided otherwise the masses may figure out they are really one and the same with a goal of robbing the masses of their future in exchange for riches well beyond the reach of the masses.
